You're absolutely right! I was also thinking about how much oil can be attached to everyone. The Glazers specifically promoted the oil with the Rooneys before a pre-match press conference. It is very strange when it happens that one country's oil is good and another's is bad. It's like living in the Matrix.

Sports washing or not, a team can't simply bypass the rules of the game and buy success. Anyone who thinks that's acceptable is poison to football. The reality of Man City is the owners used their other companies to over inflate profits and over value sponsorship. If your team can't legitimately earn more to buy better then that's nobody else's fault other than City's. Cheating doesn't equal well run, it's cheating. Liverpool Man Utd and arsenal have legitimately earned their place as top clubs, city haven't. City signed up to the rules whether they like it or not regardless if you deflect from reality by discussing sports washing or any other topic. Completely irrelevant. 115 charges says it all. If trying to sue the PL just a few months before those charges are judged doesn't scream guilty without saying guilty, then you're deluded. Nobody made Man city pretend to earn more than Real Madrid, Barcelona, Man Utd, Bayern or Liverpool all while having less supporters and no history. It's hilarious that you lot even think anybody would buy into that blatant lie. If City are innocent, why not just submit the evidence and be done with it? Why employ a whole team of lawyers and employ nonsense tactics rather than just proving innocence? Do you expect anyone to believe city wrapping legal cases up in litigation honestly shows them in a good light? There's a whole barrage of evidence against your club with leaked emails and financial records. You lot are just secretly praying you are let off with it. Enjoy your relegation, titles stripped, asterisk in the records, Manager and players running a mile to disassociate as soon as that guilty verdict is brought to you lot.

Clubs like ManU and Liverpool had huge investment by businessmen and chairmen who used their money from other businesses to inject into the clubs. Wins on the field are "earned" by putting a ball into the net. You don't win games on paper. Furthermore...tell Utd to fix their leaky roof. That's a sign on not "well run" club

@drep9028 OK, so let's get this clear, I actually work for a securities and investment company. What you're describing is not investment when it's against the rules. Certain markets have certain rules, that's how it works. There is nothing earned about funding all the best players by lying about earnings. To "Invest" you need to legitimately have the money to do so under the rules. Let's take your example of Man Utd. They built succes on youth development. Their entire history is built on youth and it's the reason they can afford good players today. They as a football club have sponsors who aren't owned by the owners, they are legitimately marketable. City owners need to sponsor themselves. Cheating doesn't equate to "well run". Man utd have a new major owner in their club who doesn't require the royal family to invest. Their leaky roof will very soon be fixed. As I've said previously, if you condone cheating then you have no place in football. Regardless if you support Man City, your integrity should always come first.

@@williamredpath861 I think you need to be reminded that none of this has been proven. And your research is clearly poor. Do you know what % of the sponsorship income is from non Arab sources? Etihad's sponsorship value is entirely in line with that of other top successful clubs' top sponsors. Go and surprise yourself by finding out how much revenue City has actually earned in past few years from TV/prize money, because they win so much. But you won't because you want to carry on believing your well-worn diatribes.
