Tyra Banks is launching ModelLand, her story driven fashion and beauty attraction, ModelLand, in Los Angeles and has partnered with Macerich, a leading real estate developer. Together they are reimagining the future of retail. ModelLand is going to be a place where the modeling world meets fantasy, meets entertainment, meets technology, meets dining, meets your fiercest best self you could ever imagine. Banks joined BUILD.

I honestly like the fact that Tyra Banks mentioned "SCREW THAT!" etc, (that part in my opinion), is honestly (I think) her way of telling the people in the modelling/fashion industry that people are sick & tired of being put down when wanting to go into modeling(especially high fashion) & all they're (meaning the fashion industry) wanting is the usual, typical TALL, SKINNY, etc, when the truth of the matter is that *EVERYONE* should be given the chance to do so & not just one (specific type of beauty standard, as Tyra has said)...It's truly wrong with what the fashion/modeling industry is doing & has been doing for some time...It's about seriously damn time, considering we're now in 2020, that standards *began to change*

That’s it! She just said it - everyone with a phone, is a model already. That’s why I don’t get the concept... People just don’t see models as the epitome of beauty anymore, I can’t even give you the names of supermodels today.

So it’s pretty much a photo shoot... not bad cus I know some people that have paid over $1500 for photo shoots.

In a way, it is but mostly for people to come and have fun at "Modelland" and Tyra will be giving posing tips/tricks for people to use, for when they take their photos on their phones when out and about, etc,. to make them look better... But for the most expensive (for people who can afford it,) they'll probably be doing runways & getting dressed up in fancy clothing for the shoots, plus other goodies, etc.,
