I mean I will say, you can see the train of thought. Up until that point in the story she never came up against a problem she couldn’t solve by murdering it. You could see how that same mindset could lead her to do what she did. And there was some telegraphing that that’s what was going to happen. The build up that was necessary to get from point A to point B was just really terribly done

Well, Tyrion was absolutely correct here. If she had stayed where she was, she would still be alive, would still have her three dragons and the love of her people. Missandei and Jorah would be alive as well. Knight king would not have been able to breach the wall either, without the dragon. Better for everyone, I think.

I'm for a 100% on Tyrion's side, specially after what happened to her at the end. Even considering her saying, Westeros is not your home. Essos is where you should conquer and make one. You were born for that. Well, regardless of all the stupid decisions she made. You can't bring the slaver cities into your command just by seizing. Slavery has been their practice for centuries, how do you expect for them to give up their titles and profits just because you're the "Mother of Dragons"? She should've used strategy and acted wisely to hold the citites.

Agreed. The best plan would’ve been to use Meeren as a base and wait a decade for her dragons to grow larger and much more dangerous. Once they are much larger she could begin a proper conquest of Slaver’s Bay. Perhaps after a few generations her descendants could form a new Valyrian Empire across all of Essos.

@@argh432It’s not really confirmed either way. The witch’s curse was kinda vague and it’s quite common for prophecies in the world of ASOIAF to either not come true or come true in ways unexpected at first.

I agree. Dany’s obsession with Westeros was always so weird to me considering it was never her real home in the first place. She was born on a ship at sea and never set foot upon Westeros during her youth. Her home was in the east and she should’ve stayed there. The slaves of the east adored her and looked up to her as a savior. She should’ve stayed in Meeren and waited for her dragons to get larger and more powerful before beginning to conquerer the other great cities in Essos. She could’ve formed a new Valyrian Empire.

She should have marched strait to Westeros and taken it. And let them clean up after. She was a conqueror. GOT was played well by house Lannister no one else. EVERYONE around house Lannister was destroyed. In the end house Lannister still ruling as Hand of the king.(after contributing to the demise of how many houses) The only one who won was house Lannister. The Starks kept what they already had and almost all other houses were decimated or destroyed.
