Also, how the world looks when the war ends may be very different. Many of the counties that voted to end the war, may want to end the war by giving Ukraine to Russia. Just because they vote the same as you, doesn't mean they agree with you.

France and the US in particular were supposed to come to our aid if we were invaded as those two states were crucial in creation of our lil state. Read up on Little Entente for example. Just because you don't know history doesn't mean it didn't happen.

@@pumkin610 OK I checked. They don't seem to have a large effect either way. More police can result in more minor crimes being prosecuted, which would make the numbers go up a little bit. Also police funding prevents governments from investing in thing that would actually reduce crime rates. Like: abolishing poverty, providing housing, recreation facilities.

Europe gets its oil from Russia and Saudi Arabia and they bully Russia and socially incentivize Russia by making these fucking tyrannical campaigns that make people think Russians are evil we use the word Nazi to describe the guys who killed Hitler. Europe failed an oil deal with Saudi Arabia and then 10 days later they failed an oil deal with Russia only then did they give you crane nuclear capability and immediately after they did Russia fired missiles at the base of a European nuclear facility so that European citizens could understand the danger of having a nuclear facility in their country if you think that the guys who made it into space first missed with rockets you're an idiot it was to prove a point and even after that Goodwill we still slander them on the news they could have blown up the fucking nuclear facility

To be fair to the UN, they are only useless in CERTAIN things. They are actually quite effective at dealing with humanitarian aid. Yes they don’t make the problem go away, but millions more people would be dying each year if it weren’t for the UN acting as a neutral aid provider in war zones, or working to reduce the spread of disease

Yah there about useless. But note about your comment that’s kinda funny in context. At the time of the Palestinian refuge crisis the definition of a Palestinian by the UN was someone living in the area for two or more years cause a significant margin of palestians were immigrants who moved there after the Jews made the area more prosperous. So wording it as the UN voted for Palestinians to return to their land is actually saying to deport them XD. The British explorers were really surprised how little people lived in the early 1900s. That whole area is very interesting to research and I’d say the my favorite is the nation of Jordan who has a very interesting and overlooked story. It was a wild balance act between the people who wanted war and the pro American king who just didn’t want everything to explode.

Even then israel offered a two state solution to the Arabs where the jews would get israel and the Arabs would get Palestine but the Arabs refused. Till date, israel has offered a two state solution seven times and Palestine has rejected each time. The slogan "from the river to the sea Palestine will be free" literally implies that the entire land of Israel will be converted into Palestine and the jews would be displaced from their homes. In israel, Arabs have complete freedom of religion, language and cultural expression. But can you say the same about Palestine? No. We need to stop justifying hamas's terror attacks against israel and see things for what they really are.

Indian ties go way beyond trade with Russia. Russia had India's back when, both, UK and USA were ready to attack Indian Eastern and Western coasts to support Pakistan in 1971 Indo-Pak war. When India was going through its worst famine and our PM went to USA for help, the NY Times headlined that the beggar leader of 3rd world has come to ask for food, or something along those lines. The point is Russia always had India's back in our worst times. And USA always supported Pakistan against India. So Russia has an immense amount of goodwill. We don't backstab our friends.

The UN was created to prevent a third world war and it did that. Also a lot of other subsidiaries like UNICEF, world bank, WHO, etc does a lot of work. And lastly if the UN had the power to do anything from General Assembly votes that would cause more problems with outsiders interfering in internal affairs. You forget that maintaining peace and security is only one of the many purposes of the UN. There are all the developmental projects, multilateral information sharing systems and multilateral communication that can only occur in a forum and resource like the UN. And moreover, virtue signalling is important for countries as nations do look at popular opinion in the UN when making foreign policy decisions, especially when their relations with certain blocs within it could be jeopardised by un thought through actions

India exports the excess oil Which has only seen a growth rate of 1.8% Most of the oil is used for the energy security of the indian people and you have to look after your citizens first So naturally they will get the best deal which russia is offering which is a cei oil export method much better than fob
