I have friends who have said that at grad standards the cadre loaded up almost all of them with close to 100lbs. of gear. Expect more than 45lbs. but obviously, start training for a month or so with 10-15lbs. since most people don't ruck. Also, if people think rucking is as easy as walking around with a backpack just like at school, look up how to do it properly. Oh, and walk long distances, not just to and from classrooms that are less than two miles from each other.

Admitting prior drug use doesn't keep you from getting in. But lying about it and them finding out gets you a discharge.

I'm thinking (and hoping) that in the training before candidate selection, they give you swim time training too. Because before the candidate selection process, there is BMT and then SWCC (Special warfare candidate course) I would assume you would get swim training in SWCC but I'm not 100% sure.

Because drowning sucks and the water is the great equalizer. Most people quit from the water. Just go to your local pool and practice some of this stuff, then imagine it being 10x faster with people harassing you. Some people crack.

I have to drop that weight which I will and learn how to improve my swimming cause it’s not that good. They can fail you and kick you out so make sure you are on your stuff. Once you make it bro be good try your best talk to a special warfare recruiter in your area to get you in contact with a special force career person so see what their day in the life was like and etc... mine is I want to be a Special Recon.
