He has worked in both conventional and Special Operations Forces (SOF) and has a total of 36 months deployed supporting combat operations. He is one of the most decorated EOD Techs EVER, being awarded the Distinguished Service Cross (the military's 2nd highest award), 2x Bronze Star Medals, and 2x Purple Hearts.
