Good thing they had robotics. This 100% shows the need for regualr infantry to have an avances centralize urban school. Something I've been saying for two decades now. Tactics, especially urban movement were horrific!! Had theu use UTM in stead of blanks they qoukd see and feel what I'm saying.

i agree with what you’re saying to a point. They will never beat the OPFOR at ntc, i was part of darkhorse and not a single unit could beat us. SF, rangers, conventional, etc. ntc is to point out flaws and fix mistakes. nobody wins at ntc

I agree! As a former grunt, the Infantry desperately needs advanced schools like the Marines. I know technology is leading the front however there's not enough emphasis put on combat forces at all. The BCTs specifically the Infantry need a bigger budget. A massive overhaul of the training routine and milestones. Look at the Aussies or ADF Infantry, their regular infantry are highly proficient in tactics, marksmanship etc

They are way too close, obviously not thinking of ukraine war. One drone and a grenade can kill a whole unit. Even the best of men and units are destroyed by a cheap drone and a operator watching you from a tablet.
