U.S. Marines with Battalion Landing Team 1/4, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, conduct a boat sustainment training exercise on Naval Base White Beach, Okinawa, Japan, June 10-11, 2024. The training was conducted to rehearse CRRC tactics and procedures to increase Marines’ proficiency for upcoming boat raids. The 31st MEU, the Marine Corps’ only continuously forward-deployed MEU, provides a flexible and lethal force ready to perform a wide range of military operations as the premiere crisis response force in the Indo-Pacific region.
