True - but maybe for the little ones if the "pin" is too early - then award points (allot) to the person pinning - but let them have at it again so you have more struggle - we want competitive action not just winning

You will never know true victory,.. if you have never been defeated ! Yes it can be a hard lesson to learn but truly a very important one if you wish to achieve in life ! Remember all the greatest people in life failed many ,many, many times !

Nothing wrong with feeling bad and even crying. Not at all at child age. It shows what she thinks and what she is motivated about and she is motivated for winning or not losing so this meant a big deal. Nothing wrong with it its just what this is about... learning to lose and learning how to win ❤

It makes me sad to see girls getting cranked over in half Nelson's - it seems it will damage their shoulders - also the match should be a match - for these little ones - that is you maybe have a time limit on pinning - like if the Pin is too early it is points but you let them go again - - the point is to have struggle - no just a 'win'

@TotalFreedomTTT-pk9stАй бұрын
Yeah - and that cranking over the shoulder 1/2 Nelson is not good for them - way too much damage potential - I often see the little ones afterwards grabbing at their shoulders - like it's twisted - which it is - that is NOT proactive and good

If they are in the same weight class then I would guess that it is around 9kg between them lol. So she shouldn't be that hard on herself I'm talking about height and the difference that can be very big in that age - not weight as in fat ofc

Don't need separate girl and boy wrestling as it one sport females have won State Championships vs males in same weight class. Sex attractions concerns? We let Gay boys wrestle other boys this should be an issue of the past. Women need a sport where they can go equal to men vs men other than horse riding events. I knew this women in wrestling earlier as 1980 had a female Judo instructor under 100lbs and 5 ft who at start of new to Judo classes each semester would go wrestling moves only and beat the biggest guys in the new class often football linemen in Jr Collage. Ancient Greeks reported the greatest wrestler ever was a woman. Now my instructors wrestling was more Ancient Greek style in that there was no breaking apart the contestants and no rounds you fought to one got a pin.

I think it is but you are right - way too much allowance for injury - that twisting of the shoulder is not healthy - so for me ? okay but with lots more restrictions so they have the outlet of struggle and effort with ZERO injury

Wrestling is a safer sport than many others. No head contact like boxing. Safer than riding ponies over jumps.

FYI, there's a difference between boys and girls. Doesn't mean that they can't do what we do. They just do it differently. Women can do better than 3/4 of men when they are at the top. The last ten, men are on top. .

What’s wrong with that? Humans are allowed to be sad and disappointed, and they’re allowed to show it. It’s healthy, especially for kids. I made a 189 pound senior in high school cry by pinning him using barbwire in the first round, in a loser’s bracket match in our conference tournament, eliminating him.

They look to be on the boundary. Almost pubescent, but for the time still children. They're definitely not men though. It does help specify things about them. An unclear "children" category would have boys beating up girls.
@TotalFreedomTTT-pk9stАй бұрын
My concern would be injury - way way too much twisting on body parts like the shoulder or knees - so much more regulated for the little guys and also not put two obviously different sizes against each other
