That is for certain. Many rate neil perr as prime example of a great drummer. I'd like to if seen drumming contest larry verse neil. I say larry would win hands down.

I've heard this song so many times but I still cry when watching live performances of it. The message is critical and Bono delivers the lyrics directly to our hearts, to our own hearts. It makes me so emotional because I'm exhausted from losing people to war.

I can't believe the news today Oh, I can't close my eyes and make it go away How long, how long must we sing this song? How long? How long? 'Cause tonight We can be as one Tonight Broken bottles under children's feet Bodies strewn across the dead-end street But I won't heed the battle call It puts my back up, puts my back up against the wall Sunday, Bloody Sunday Sunday, Bloody Sunday Sunday, Bloody Sunday Sunday, Bloody Sunday Alright, let's go And the battle's just begun There's many lost, but tell me who has won? The trenches dug within our hearts And mothers, children, brothers, sisters torn apart Sunday, Bloody Sunday Sunday, Bloody Sunday How long, how long must we sing this song? How long? How long? 'Cause tonight we can be as one, tonight Tonight, tonight (Sunday, Bloody Sunday) Tonight, tonight (Sunday, Bloody Sunday) Alright, let's go Wipe the tears from your eyes Wipe your tears away I'll wipe your tears away I'll wipe your tears away (Sunday, Bloody Sunday) I'll wipe your bloodshot eyes (Sunday, Bloody Sunday) Sunday, Bloody Sunday Sunday, Bloody Sunday Sunday, Bloody Sunday Sunday, Bloody Sunday And it's true we are immune When fact is fiction and TV reality And today the millions cry (Sunday, Bloody Sunday) We eat and drink while tomorrow they die (Sunday, Bloody Sunday) The real battle just begun (Sunday, Bloody Sunday) To claim the victory Jesus won (Sunday, Bloody Sunday) On Sunday, Bloody Sunday, yeah Sunday, Bloody Sunday

i was a late bloomer, but i managed to first see u2 on the unforgettable fire tour april 1985. subsequently caught a great show on the joshua tree tour dec. 1987. they came to my neck of the woods back in april 1983 for the war tour. unfortunately this was before red rocks and heavy mtv rotation, and to my own personal recollection, any knowledge of the band by myself. at that point, they were just another college band running the circuit. in some ways i'd possibly wager the 1985 and 1987 shows as a trade for the 1983 concert. of course i am hypothetically speaking. but honestly, seeing u2 in 1985 and 1987 still remain to this day at the top of my 1. 2. best concert list. so it wouldn't be a given.
