What I love about these guys is they always have these massive stages but they still stay close together on stage like they’re still playing bars.

I agree, only exception to me was the 350 tour and honestly I could hear that they were not as tight musically on that tour, imo. the physical distance was audible.
@patton3033 жыл бұрын
@@Will21st That’s spot on too. Even with in-ear monitors, technically it shouldn’t make any difference where you are onstage, but it does. I watched the set they did at Bonaroo and they were stripped down, playing close together and playing super tight. As a drummer, I hate when I’m on a large stage and nobody is near me. Maybe it’s just something about the vibe or not being able to see someone’s hands that makes it feel sloppy.

@@timjohnson8820 Tim Johnson, I get that you represent solid greivances that are not isolated to just yourself and which should legitimately be looked at and addressed. I also, imo, think maybe you can be more fact-based and constructive in your communication of the issues. There are some solid points you can refer to for supporting what I think is your point, and there are facts about the band's philanthropy which also legitimately go against the premise of what it sounds like you're railing against. When you are simply insulting the music and fans, you lose credibility against legit problems you're maybe trying to present. To claim the band contributes zero is just not realistic. Instead, you can do the research and present an argument that, regardless of what you personally think of the music or fans, U2 is quite possibly both generous and hypocritical in its support of Irish based causes.
