On this episode, we turn on Uber Eats while on the motorcycle! Motovlogging on the Honda Shadow Phantom while delivering food after a shift at the fire station. Sure, why not right?! I end up touring the city and become a witness to some crime first thing in the morning. So, is it fun? Did I waste my money on the build to never do it again? Watch and find out on episode 31!

Great to find your video. I do DoorDash and Uber with my little car. But I've tried a bit of delivery on my cruiser bike. I"m interested in your setup and work flow.

Nice! It's a lot of fun and I have a bunch of videos on the channel of "The Adventures." The next two episodes coming up (64 & 65) will be deliveries on the Honda Shadow for Uber Eats. I started doing Grub Hub as well, but admittedly, I haven't turned the apps on in about two months. Extra money is always nice though! Ride safe if you deliver again on the bike.

I'm working on the Day 1 evening video now (will be out Sunday) and it has been a lot of fun. Cheap fuel cost so even though the pay isn't what it use to be, it's cheaper to on the back end plus you get to ride around on a bike! Definitely gonna keep doing it here and there. Just be careful not to get too distracted.

Exactly! I've been watching all sorts of Uber Eats and DoorDash videos from cars to just plain ol walking routes. Just depends on your area and honestly, TIPS! If people don't tip in your area is will definitely not be worth it! The bonus for me is my channel and gaining content for doing what I do. Thanks for watching and good luck!

Man, those drinks would make me really nervous. I’ve seen how some workers BARELY put lids on cups. 😬 Great reference to riding like when first learning how to ride. 😆

Yeah, all that stress over $8, but we are motorcycle riders. We like to live on the edge! Even if it's just a soda... By God, it was Cheryl's large Coke with ice.

I’ve learned my lesson I ask for a plastic bag. Had horchata spill out after taking a hard pothole. Damn bag smelled like cinnamon and milk for a couple of weeks.

Do you do late night deliveries(10-pm)? Have gotten any complaints from ppl because of your exhaust?

Nah. I think 10pm is actually my cutoff. That is a good point though because I have read a note about please do not ring the doorbell because the baby is sleeping (napping). Luckily, I read that prior to my arrival and parked a few houses down the street. Not sure if the customer noticed it, but I got a higher than average tip.

Full time? Unfortunately, there is not a blanket answer for that question. Just depends on your market. I started getting back into Uber Eats and a little bit of Grubhub. I have never done Door Dash up to this point but with Uber Eats, I have been selective on what I take. Currently messing around with it in my car because the weather is still a bit too cold to do it for multiple hours. Using the bike is a HUGE gas saver but you will have to worry about wear and tear such as tires down the road. The money you get back per mile in taxes helps offset the money owed for taxes so that is nice but you need to try it out in your market to get the answer you are looking for. Also, with poor weather like I mentioned, you would have to use a car or just skip the day. It is a lot of fun though I can tell you that much! I have been going out a couple of times a week for between two and three hours making $30+ an hour but that is the dinner runs and alcohol orders. If I were to deliver for 6 to 8 hours throughout the day, I think I would be closer to $20 an hour.

Uber Eats because the orders are constantly coming through. You are able to pick the good orders and not just take the bad ones because you worry when the next opportunity will come through.

I think it depends on your location. In my area, I was given the option. Seems the same for those you see walking for Uber Eats on KZfaq.

You can hold a cup and swing it in a circle without spilling. I'd think leaning into the turns more would reduce spills ?? Am I crazy ?

In the description, I list what I use and I even have a video on the build that shows basically everything that is on there. In my saddle bag is a drink carrier so it all fits nice and tightly where I probably could ride however I want but drinks just make me nervous.

It's an odd shape 🤔 I made a build video for it and I think it's something like 9x12x18. I did buy a 20x20x20 like ypu mentioned. I have to figure that out but with the weather getting nicer, I'm about to hook that up!

Nah, I bought my own. Grubhub did for free but I think Door Dash and Uber Eats have their own store you can buy them.

Oh nice! Do you use both apps at the same time? I've watched a few people on KZfaq do that. I do it on the side as I work full time as a firefighter.

@@FYERFlGHTER yea I use both apps at the same time,I’m worry about the maintenance of this bike I just stat like a week ago I used to do it on a Yamaha mt03 is I also liked it but I decided to go for this one but I still don't know if there will be a lot of difference in maintenance and expenses

The way I look at it is I get to ride my motorcycle. I enjoy any excuse to go cruise around but my maintenence is pretty cheap. You just have to guage it with your bike.
