It's not double, it's probably the same or even less. People are being deceived by this. It's $32 per active hour. This means if you're not a ride you are paid zero.

@@messagesend8239 In Florida it would be substantial. How many rides does one get where they have to drive 7 - 8 miles for a pickup, then drive a customer 2 - 3 miles for a whopping $3? Uber has lost their mind and until they improve I won't be driving for them.

The AG, Governor, drivers and riders got played in Massachusetts. We are already making 32.50 per active hours in Mass. And I keep telling you guys that ballot questions in MA are NOT BINDING. Meaning they still have to pass the state legislature and be signed by the governor to become law. Without a legit rate card being state mandated they did nothing for our pay.

I am in Boston. If I am actually affected by the $32.50, it will have been a really bad week. I am a little concerned about the "qualifying plan" part of the insurance, so I am not sure if I will get it... The sick time will be great, since 40 hours is better than nothing. Still wish we got miles and minutes similar to Washington, but I am at least not MAD as things are. BTW, the answer to why not daily payout is that they want the two week average so they can use the $45per hour hours that you get a couple of here or there to wash out all the hours that you are lucky to make $25 active...

I only auto accept with lyft because of the stay in the area filter. Since uber wants me to quality for their area preference filter i basically only drive deliveries for them and take a few passenger rides but only with destination filter.

Must be nice. 40+ active hours on Lyft and $125. I took almost every offer. Uber was $530 for 40+ active hours. At this point I'm making 30%-40% of earnings in tips. And why are external fees over 25% of passenger payments?

Sir, what are you talking about 😂😂😂 a$1 per mile 😂 I drive in San Diego area and they offer $ 0.6 to 0.7 per mile except the very short trips We used to make $ 0.65 per mile + $0.2225 per minute, so at that time it was about $ 0.9 to $1 per mile, so after UPFRONT, they just took the pay per minute, and they pay per mile only now,. and we make $3 per hour minimum in San Diego still !!!! When I started driving for Lyft, My rent was $1200 in2017, and now is $2500 while the minimum still $3😅😂 And the pay rate has cut sharply buy both Lyft and Uber 😂😂😂

I drive in Boston, MA and it was very slow tonight. Probably the slowest Friday ever. Uber played me. I was near the Braintree mall for two hours tonight and there were no surges. So I drove to the event area because it was surging. As soon as I got closer to the surges it slowly disappeared and back at the mall it was surging.

You need to explain who is eligible for the health care stipend. Only drivers who purchase their own health care are eligible. If you have Medicare or Medicaid, or have employer insurance, then they are not eligible.

I think its BS that this is done state by state, its should be all US states getting this deal....Im in Cincinnati Ohio and no matter if I cherry pick or accept all I end up earning $20 an hour and I get no benefits. Give me $32.5 an hour plus benefits and ill take ALL trip you through at me

In California nowadays with Prop 22 we get paid about 20$ per hour the same as a Fast Food worker. Fast food worker don’t need to pay for a car and gas to work or risk having a complete stranger in their car.

I think it’s best to have no contracts. If they offer crap then don’t take it. These new regulations will screw you in the long run. I can’t think of any government regulations that benefit anyone but companies.

how can I sue the 3rd party company that took me out of Lyft and has not ok'd me to go back. Safety Holdings stopped me from working because I let my CDL go. I don't need a CDL but they been refusing to let me go back, even tho I decided to get my CDL again. a whole year and it hurts me very badly

Is there a high demand in CT like MA or RI? I've brought pax to CT over 8yrs of doing Uber and never brought anyone from CT or NH. But always MA and RI are more in demand than CT, NH, ME or VT for example. Just my experience ❤

The ignorance is destroying this business concept. We are not employees. We are independent contractors. These companies will not allow you to make more than the minimum wage. You are not making money for online hours, only active hours. The idea is to maximize the profit every hour to make much more than a damn minimum wage.
