These credit card rewards are actually better than the credit cards issued by UBS to swiss residents only. Like your everyday commoner in Switzerland can get a UBS credit card (not one listed here, they are different) but we get points called KEYCLUB points which are only redeemable in swiss stores. For example, every 500 bucks we spend we get 15 swiss francs to spend at any store in switzerland which I primarily use to put towards groceries.

Interesting. From what I understand, card rewards programs outside of the states are usually not nearly as competitive. These UBS cards aren't bad for perks/rewards. Sounds like they left the points system at home. Thanks for sharing

The airline tickets seem like they'd still give you over 1 cpp even if it doesn't line up perfectly. The credits with a lot of spend on the cards is interesting. But the multipliers don't seem to be good enough for this to be worthwhile, and as you said there are better options elsewhere.

It's a possibility, woulda been nice if they called it out specifically. I think these guys bought wealth front so maybe there going to go mainstream at some point

Haha the title for this video is perfect. I kinda like how they don’t “clickbait” you with the names of these credit cards. They’re definitely pretty vanilla, but if you have a relationship with their bank and you don’t necessarily care too much about the points and miles game, I could see why you’d get these cards. Sometimes simplicity works best for people.

I like to name things what they are so it easily shows up in search (youtube is the second largest search engine) then add a little pun or line from the vid on the end of the title to catch attention when possible. Glad it's working out lol

@@RJFinancial I do something very similar. Having KZfaq as the second largest search engine only behind Google (who obviously owns Google) makes search based content really powerful. And then tacking on something on the end to appeal to recommendations/browse makes for a pretty well received combo.

With getting one point four to one point eight percent back on the signature card your better of with the ole Double Cash. If you want TSA pre check the Citizens Cash Back Plus where until the seventh you get up-to a *hundred in TSA Pre Check credit plus $200 for $500 spend in the first three months with no annual fee.* Primary CDW is good on the UBS side.

Agree. The thing is UBS clients likely aren't going to even consider other options so they get away with the points program the way it is

Neutralizing the annual fee with $25K in spend is attractive. With easy cards such as Venture X and Hilton Aspire, there's no point in chasing these guys down. The key logo is cool.

I read an interesting book from a banker who worked there; Lucifers Banker. Talked about all the off the books accounts and things like that. I'm guessing these clients don't even know cap one exists

@@RJFinancial oh, so maybe like the Delta Reserve, except you're earning status into the illuminati? A secret handshake through the bank's backdoor. Maybe even preferred seating at the Gotthart Tunnel Celebration.

I personally believe that this is a new opportunity for those who are in the Credit Card game and one shouldn't be intimidate because this Bank cater for the rich this Card has the potential for growing and offer more benefits down the line and as an early adapter one might have the opportunity to open an account with them and start building a relationship with UBS without actually bieng that rich 😉.

It's always a possibility. I think UBS was buying wealth front, likely to break into the mainstream markets. I'd consider this if they had a bonus you wanted but right now I wouldn't pay the annual fee in hopes it gets better given what's on the market currently.

RJ, It definitely looks like they are catering to the wealthy and at that point with the redemption of 1.4 to 1.8 those 3 x purchases can become valuable. When you're at this point with the ultra wealthy than the points and free travel doesn't matter. It is about what the relationship can do for me. I will never be there pretty sure about that with the high inflation and Brandons taxes on the rich. Yeah we aren't getting ahead anytime in the next few years. Appreciate the review and the video buddy. 😃😆🙂

Not like the good ole days of true Swiss banking I suppose. I thought there was a story about UBS buying Wealth Front awhile back to likely try and get to the younger American market.... coulda been someone else tho

what tax on the rich? I own plenty of cash flowing real estate back by long term low interest debt paid by tenants. The more inflation the fed and government create, the richer I get. Stupid government policies only benefit the rich.
@jeremymoore450

@@wanderingdoc5075 yeah not all of us even have that cash to do that. I know I don't. I heard nightmares about people who owned rental income real estate and during covid for 2020 and 2021 if the tenants didn't pay you couldn't kick them out they could basically live there rent free for a year or more and nothing you could do about it. I live in California so real estate is basically untouchable unless you have high enough income to even think about a loan.

@@jeremymoore450 there are a thousand different ways to "invest in real estate", both active and passing investing, then you have different strategies, and different access classes within real estate like mobile home parks, self storage, atms, senior living, etc.

@@jeremymoore450 yes all the scary stories you hear. 2020 and 2021 were my best years yet, I quadrupled my passive income. Real estate retired me in my 30s because of covid. As I said, there are a thousand different ways to do it, and I'm not a landlord for more than 90% of my real estate equity.
