Judging by the comments I might've done a bad job of explaining what I had planned... (Or maybe Uncut is just a bad name) Joshimuz Uncut is going to be exactly what this channel is right now. Raw, unedited, *uncut* footage straight from the stream, uploaded fairly quickly as it is now. Weekly DYOM uploads, everything the same. The main Joshimuz channel will be high effort edited content. I don't mean with stupid wacky bullshit, or stupid subtitles or recap intros or shit like that. It'll just be like what Stream Highlights are, but more of them and more frequently for more stuff than just general streams. Everyone is constantly telling me to get a YT editor, I want one and I could maybe afford to have one now, but I can't justify paying someone to do it and having it all go to waste because none of my videos ever get recommended because so many of my videos get low views. Seriously have a look. Go to my channel and click Videos and look at all my uploads. There's so many with like less than 10% of the others and the algorithm *hates* it.

I can't exactly say I'm a fan of "30-minute edited DWOM on mainchannel", I'll probably just end up watching the uncut channel more than the main one. I feel like the bad DWOM missions are part of the experience, and they give me the most squares on the DWOM bingo.

1. I think that DYOM should stay on your main/biggest channel 2. Don't think DYOM need to be edited in any way, this format is great as it is. 3. If you're going to publish both edited and unedited DYOM episodes, what i think will happen is that people who enjoyed DYOM episodes in old (current) format will just watch unedited version, and wont watch edited version of the same stuff again

For me, I hate watching twitch. I’m a very unfocused person, and I like to chop and change what I’m doing constantly. I do like the edited videos eg highlights, but I loveee watching twitch vods(like this) because it’s the authenticity of it, having the personality and the chat lore etc, in the long form, but I can pause it! Being able to watch DYOM, the collect every vehicle vod etc, I love watching that in its absolute entirety, every second of it, but only when I can pause it. Personally I’m only interested in GTA content, and it being edited or longform doesn’t change the general interest, I’ll watch every minute of what I enjoy either way. Sorry for the long and probably nonsensical message but just a thought from me :)

Josh when you play DWOM without full attention to the mission it gets extremely boring, this feels like a reaction video. compare this to the first tiktok tts episode.

As said on 33:44 we are the target audience, and please do not remove the old format for DYOM (on the main channel, not "Joshimuz uncut" one), just make "Best of DYOM in *some month*", and make it regular, so folk who didn't watch EVERY episode, cannot miss out on fun things 🗿. It would be somewhat similar to what WirtualTV does as you mentioned at something like 42:00 (edited videos, unedited videos of Trackmania season map discovery etc).

Sorry Josh, but the whole time I was watching this DYOM run I was thinking: when will he finally stop talking/eating and focus on playing? Personally, they come here mainly for DYOM, so I would prefer 3x1h DYOM every week and not every 3 weeks like now. I don't watch iRacing, so it pisses me off that you spend so much time on it. But that's just my opinion - you run this channel. Anyway, thanks for the content.

As much as everybody loves dyom, I would like some more modded content like Eben has. Or maybe like finding some popular and/or high quality dyom mission packs to play through. Or challenge run type stuff like you did with that magazine challenge.

Channels: I think the channels should be separated by content and not edited/unedited. Main Channel: SA content, DYOM, SA Highlights. Can have both edited and unedited videos. Racing Channel: iRacing and Motorsports. Can bait viewers with edited videos showing best and worst moments from the week's races. Other Games Channel: Minecraft, Portal 2, etc. all other game speedruns and playthroughs. DYOM: I like the current DYOM format of the one hour unedited videos every week. Shorts: I also hate shorts and don't watch them but recognize the potential of getting new viewers to the channel with shorts of cool/funny moments from the stream. You have a lot of quick funny moments on stream which could work for shorts. But totally understand not wanting to dilute the content and doing something you don't want to do. Shoutout to Tduva for the editing so far! I really like the monthly highlight videos and think they are done really well. And thanks Josh for all this content! This is a good problem to have.

Dyom is becoming the Josh's equivalent of "reaction" content. Doin random stuff during, eating on stream, barely paying attention. Sad. RIP DYOM. Quality really falling off.

Fun fact: The sniper mission seems to actually be based on the "The Sniper"/"The Sniper 2" games on PlayStation 1/2 They were a series of cheap games that played more or less like the mission (and funny enough, with the same bad voice acting)

What I think about the KZfaq channel issue: To be completely honest with you, I subscribed to your channel a long, long time ago (I think about 10 years ago). But I had completely stopped watching, and whenever I got a recommendation from you, I considered unsubscribing. But DWOM changed everything! I chose to click on the first DWOM video because I was interested in the video's proposal. Since then, the only thing I watch on your channel is DWOM - very rarely do I watch any other type of video besides DWOM. Considering the regularity of views you receive on DWOM videos on this channel, I believe it's because many people also have the same habit as me. Considering this, removing such regular content from this channel could be a terrible idea. I think you should continue posting uncut DWOMs on this channel (along with monthly edited DWOMs with the best missions - perhaps with public voting), as well as edited and cut videos (that are about GTA). Then, on another new channel, you post videos about other games, such as racing games. I believe they don't have a good reach on this channel because the audience you've built here isn't as interested in those videos. By creating a new channel, you can attract a new range of people who actually consume this type of content.

Separating racing and main in different channels is a very good idea. I personally am not interested in racing (kinda love street racing games, but official sports racing and simulators are physically impossible to watch for me), so i'm basically killing the channel by algorithm, because i don't watch almost 50% of videos on this cannel. Still don't know about high quality DYOM uploads. I think 90% of current audience would watch uncut ones, me included. I think sharing this 15-20 minute version to friends would be a lot more resulting tho, in terms they'll probably watch it from start to finish. But i don't know if they'll stay on channel after watching

Imo keep DYOM on the main Joshimuz channel. Maybe do edited highlight episodes specifically for DYOM (Best of DYOM or something) like a few months after the episodes have dropped. You have a lot of earlier DYOM episodes than can also be edited this way to start off and to bridge that gap. Stream Highlights should also definitely stay. Full speedruns also imo. Failed speedruns could be edited, perhaps in a 'how did the speedrun end' type of video (change the title if you dont want to completely rip off Darkviper or just give credit to his video series which is basically retired now anyways). Joshimuz Extra's could be a channel were you upload the extra, less popular stuff, like the Iracing content, but also the minecraft and portal speedruns.

I feel like uncut DYOM is a special case that deserves to be on the main channel.

So I could be wrong, but using American billions, I worked out that the "special powder" would come in at a mighty reasonable 16.667 thousand dollars/gram. Remarkable!

If you're looking for bait content for the Iracing channel I think a fails/crashes highlights would be a good one. As a chronic SA viewer™ I enjoyed a video you made like that a while ago

Starting from 0:28 for a few seconds there is some graphical glitch near the middle of the screen showing through ground. A square outline, but it seems to be far below the surface. I wonder what that is, like is it something DYOM related or not? Maybe they are storing all the characters there or something?

Only way to see if they work is to try them and experiment but either way it'd be a benefit. It would probably be favorable to make it a test phase of a month or something to see what your numbers could look like for your edited Dwoms or whatever edited content you dream of. The usual saying in entertainment is once your viewers changed the channels its hard to get them back meaning if people who watch your uncut stuff here suddenly dont have it anymore its gonna be hard to get them all to move to the new channel. The people who comment here are 100% gonna sub to your new channel but the chances that you get your 15k+ or however many views your usual Dwom videos get to move to the new channel is gonna be hard imo. You always "complain" about the low views on your non SA stuff and if i understand you right you think/feel like these videos are ruining ur channel algorythm aswell the solution to me seems to be to move any non SA content to your new channel be it uncut or not to totally seperate it and this just becomes a GTA channel with edited and non edited videos. Also judging by your last 3 Dwoms videos you "forcing" yourself to sit through 4+ runs of dwom in a day isnt really gonna be all that enjoyable for yourself. Personally i am a pure youtube watcher and i enjoy this channel exactly because its unedited and free flowing, something that can be put on the second monitor and be followed with a side eye on it. I also love your Stream highlights and have watched many of them many times over but seeing an edited down Dwom doesnt sound all that entertaining to me because the failure and struggle is really part of the whole thing.

No offense, but Ben kinda ruined the run for me, tbh. Like dude, just calm down. I know he is a streamer, and he talks about business with Josh, but still. We are trying to watch Josh play missions and talk about it, but the whole run was just Ben texting Josh long messages back to back and Josh reading them. I hope that doesn't happen in the future. Also, TTS wasn't that good this episode... Having GTA characters talk is nice and all, but I already missed TikTok and Google Translate TTS. Idk if people will agree, but DYOM TTS should be goofy. We all came to laugh, and hearing CJ or Niko talking is not funny, imo. Yeah, singing got annoying (especially after I watched those three DYOM runs back-to-back live), but I was still laughing, and I'm sure everyone else was as well. Even if you get rid of the singing TTS, we should stick to TikTok/Google Translate TTS from now on. This is just a criticism; I am not trying to be rude or anything. I love your content, and I just hope it stays that way. I am completely okay with your Uncut channel idea, btw. I don't think it will cause any problems, and you'll get more subscribers instead. For the DYOM race you could put your editor to profit, having the POV of other players could be really nice (when something interesting happens, obviously...), if their runs are being recorded, it would be way more enjoyable because we could see how they deal with those missions differently than you and it would bring a sense to this race format because else it's just DYOM but with people taking over each other AND over TTS, it doesn't bring anything else.
