Am I the only one thinking this is a good option for short distance travel? Whatever stress on the fork and front tire will just be similar to normal bike run. Why not buy a trailer? The thing is compact and probably much chapter.

This could count as a trailer and if so, then what about rear light requirements? Either way, some LEO's may want to see extra rear lights and issue a ticket. Then the user would have to go to court.

I know here in the states when I rented a cement mixer it didn't have lights and they said I don't need em if the car lights are visible , that was in Ohio btw

@Daniele Well, i m not convinced, wheel direction of rotation is designed for dynamic use, specifically for rain draining, and maybe braking(front wheel only), but here it's just passive, nearly no effort, even less as there is no pilote weight on.... don't see why it would deteriorate it much.

a doubt that there are many countires in europe where you are allowed to pull a bike in this way without putting lights at it for utrning direction, brake light, rear drive light etc. its no excuse that its possible to see the rear lights of the pulling car. where not in the jungle here, there are millions of rules so no way to use this device legal

Adding to that, there are countries where the towed vehicle licence plate has to be visible and the law clearly states 2-wheeled self propelled vehicles may not be towed.
