Reporter: just a few fire extinguishers thrown at police, some sprayed the police with fire extinguisher, nothing serious. Um. I was raised to respect the law and law enforcement. @@Sam4got Ukraine was willing to have any ally in order to fight the Soviet Union, if not the Germans the Americans, their ideology did not correlate, but their enemy was the same one. Similar things happened with the Muslim inhabitants of the French and English colonies, they were not that similar in ideology to the Third Reich, but they had a common enemy who they hoped to defeat one day. For example, hamas is not like the Third Reich (it is worse), however they have sympathy for the Nazi regime as their hatred for Jews and victim cards were the same - blame the Jews for the things you are doing yourself and wake up medieval myths concerning the Jewish people.

Why is this encampment higher priority to break up than the million other ones in LA? Any argument I could think of, I could counter argue other encampments have the same reasons they should be broken up (chaos, violence, proximity to schools and children). Why is UCLA so special? Why is Westwood a functioning city? Is it incorporated? Its proximity to VA? Hospitals?

I'm no fan of police in general. The job is a necessary evil, but attracts WAY too many violence-prone, aggressive, control freaks. I have NO criminal record whatsoever but have dealt with belligerent assholes in uniform several times in my life. THAT SAID, I am extremely impressed with the professionalism of these police officers. They're not becoming emotional/angry/insulted in response to the taunts and obvious signs of an aggressive defensive position from inside the encampment. I admire the way they are simply going about the process of dismantling the camp's perimeter, slowly/methodically, before moving on to the next step of removing humans. Those in comments frustrated that there's no wading into the camp with batons swinging...move to Russia or China please. We don't need that shit here.
