UConn vs #2 Stanford (INSANE GAME!) | Super Regional Game 1 | 2022 College Baseball Highlights

UConn and Stanford played in game 1 of the Stanford Super Regional in the 2022 College Baseball Season. Super Regionals are a best of 3 series.
Covering sports in a unique way since 2018.

I make my videos on the HP Spectre x360. I use Adobe Premiere Rush to edit, which allows me to commentate and efficiently splice up clips in a high quality way.
One of my favorite accomplishments is revolutionizing the way sports channels create thumbnails. I started making them with team logos on the left, and a game snapshot on the right, and I’ve gotten almost all of my video views with that style.
I have a combined 4 years of experience as a Baseball & Basketball Play by Play announcer, which is where I learned my skills for commentary/breakdowns.

It’s college baseball, so I expect mistakes to happen. But, man did Stanford make a lot of them early on in this game. It was too much to overcome. I’m surprised they made the game as close as they did.

I honestly didn’t know UCONN had a baseball team. I do know this tho. There are some really good players on the northeast coast. I think the success of Maryland and Rutgers speaks to that as well.

I was there and stuck it out to the end! UConn was all over Stanford’s pitchers. I also think their staff has better stuff than Stanford’s. Hopefully Stanford can force a game three tomorrow!

You see this every year. A team that’s not traditionally a baseball power puts together a team full of JR’s and SR’s that really worked hard and developed into some good ball players. Also, they get hot at the right time.

They will. They'll do to Uconn what they did to Texas State. Uconn isn't really that good. They're just playing at a high level right now.

8:44 I’m not sure why the baserunner wasn’t able to get to third on this hit. Yet, they tried to risk it, by sending him right after that on a ball that didn’t get out of the infield. A couple of baserunning blunders ended up being costly for Stanford.

Game would be so much better with wood bats. It’s super unfair to the pitchers to throw excellent pitches but the batters hit jammed inside late swing homers. I’ve been watching a lot of the games and out of 20 or so homers I’ve seen only maybe 4 actually looked like a homer coming off the bat

They hit as many homers on the road as at home. Alleys and center are pretty deep at Sunken.

Every team has their good side and Stanford’s is offense, just like Tennessee, their pitching isn’t all that, is it a lil bitter of course but their offense carries them.

@@ohyaaa7413 you do realize Tennessee has the best pitching staff in the country statistically. Lowest ERA in college baseball. So I don't understand how you can compare Stanford pitching with Tennessee. The only thing they have in common is they both can hit and might not make it to Omaha.
