I just love your carvings

As someone else said: I love the simple elegance of these figures. I also enjoy watching your eyes tell you hands which pieces of wood to remove in order to release the figure inside. Not everyone has that skill but you certainly do!

I pretty much have up carving a few months ago. I'm not very good and getting decent wood to practice with is not entirely straightforward. Your videos are so inspiring. I will try again. I'd love to.know the music in the first part of the video. Thank you. Take care.

I love this my friend. They would make wonderful bishops for the chess set I hope to make someday. Unfortunately, I got too cocky doing the new rooster and didn’t wear my glove. I sliced my finger pretty deep so it will be a week or so before I will pick up my knife again. Superglue is my best friend 😜🤣 Watching you make the slice cuts makes me cringe thinking you will slip and cut your finger too😱 But your technique is graceful and I’m sure you will not be clumsy as I was! I will save this video for when I become as graceful as you💕

It really is elegant, very nice workpiece! Like the left one in the background, with the coat over it. What palm chissel is that? I like the style, maybe want some, can you recommend them?
