A quick unboxing, review, and running of the Brushless RC Boat "The Arrow" from UDIRC (Model number UD1005). This boat is very fast! Please join me for a quick unboxing, review and running of this very fast boat. (At least for me.) At only a little under 25 inches long this boat is huge on performance. And it really hugs the water right out of the box. No adjustments were needed, just some boat hatch tape. Thanks for watching.

I run my stock Arrow on 4S all the time. It's a different beast on 4S! I've never had any problems with overheating anything!

Enjoy. Works best in smooth water but I do like to jump boat wakes.

It turns so sharp I don't see how it could be fast..... I've never seen a professional race boat turn that sharp?

You have to turn down the power (slow down) to turn effectively in both fast small RC boats and real life fast boats (Offshore racers, Bass Boats, etc...). If you turn to quickly, going to fast, the prop will come out of the water and very quickly the ass end of the boat will change places with the front end. That is why a boat operator should always wear the kill switch lanyard. The quick change of the boat's direction can throw the operator overboard. Then, the boat turns hard left, circles around, and runs over the operator, striking him with the prop. In the USCG, I have seen the aftermath of that and it wasn't a pretty sight.

Hi mate if you change the battery connector to deans and get the ovonic 3s 3000mah battery it fits in that boat and it gives U more run time

I love my arrow 5 but my flex shaft broke and i cannot find a replacement...makes me sad.....i wish it was a video on how to make the shaft ehter 4mm or a solid shaft.. great vid by the way

You can run 2600mah in them too mate U should get yourself a couple more batterys you can get 3s 2200mahs on eBay for $20 each

Ease into the throttle and it will be less likely to roll from torque!

What C rating can this boat handle with everything stock?

Not sure. Running stock battery which is 11.1V 2200mAh Lipo. Maybe a 4S?

I bought one of these with an 80C 3s 3000mah battery upgrade, and have three other boats as well to include a Vector 80 Pro with metal propellor upgrade and 4s 100C graphine battery. It does around 50mph!

Yes, it does self right by hitting forward to reverses quickly. I have also hit a wake and submarined the boat. She was underwater for 10+ seconds. It finally popped up and was mostly dry inside after the run... Mostly.

I've got 4 batterys for myn so I can run it right through the day run it give it a rest run another boat or too then run it again last all day

That's a good price but sometimes the cheap price comes with expensive shipping. I checked eBay when I bought mine but was not the best deal. It pays to shop around.

The worst thing about these electric boats is the battries don't last long U only get like 5 mins they should make a battery that last like half hour

Yes, the short battery life is a bummer. I've been looking at some gas powered boats but not sure if I'll take the jump. May be sometime in the future. Bigger and faster is good.
