As an avid home cook, I can always learn simple ticks of cooking from ur videos. The ways he makes the egg drop soup: the highly boiling water, how high u hold and drop the eggs, how the laddle on the right hand moves. All his movements r showing he’s worked in a formal restaurant with formal training.

I am only 8 mins into this video and have to say, the level of making Chinese food in Japan is quite diff from China or anywhere else in the world. Look at the small size of ma po tofu and the dish they use, it’s already making me feel how special is eating it. Regardless of making udon or Chinese food, most of the time the Japanese 匠人spirit is very unique. I think that’s why many of us enjoy this channel so much. Again thx for another great video.

Their Chinese food made their own twist. Other than mapo tofu which is somewhat authetic, the rest aren't quite.
