I completely agree with you, 100 percent. I'm glad to hear someone's finally saying something about this. I've posted this many times. this year. that this needs to be done. with all these big pain shows. and got my ass ripped for it. One of the persons telling me. I was full of shit. Was Doug Wolfgang's former crew chief. who said it was absolutely not necessary. I told him he didn't know what he was talking about. With all these big pain shows, you give them the opportunity to cheat. Somebody's gonna take it. These tracks need to do whatever it takes to make sure the motors are not too big. Up to and including Taking the head off the motor. If they think that's necessary. Or anything else. Like traction control. Nitrous. anything else that could be cheating? Like we said, go over the car with a fine tooth comb. At least the top three. I've been saying that all. spring and early summer. And boy, have I got ripped for it. Sure, I'm glad you brought the subject up. It should have started back at Husets I'll just say to you, guess I knew what I was talking about, didn't I? I've been around Sprint car racing for so long. That I've forgotten more things than most people were know.

What an interview. Cody is right on the money with his thoughts. With a million dollars on the line,there needs to be a teardown of at least the winning car! Ten races paying 100k sounds like a great idea. It could be spread out across the country at different tracks. It would definitely draw more fans!

After watching the race, it sure seemed the cars were running at 125% of a normal race. Sure seems the cars were different from a typical night.

Perhaps Cody should state what kind of cheating he thinks might be going on?

In the old days yes, you had a 100 guys who could build a sprint car motor. Now, the few big name builders would probably laugh at you if you asked for an illegal motor.
