Every time he had the opportunity to do the grab combo he just couldn’t make it happen and the one time he got it he used a less lethal version or something that didn’t get the damage to kill. Gotta get that combo right.

Luigi is definitely the top of mid tier or bottom of high tier, solid tournament viable character, but man, I feel like for the number of good matchups he has he also has probably 3 or 4 of the hardest matchups in the game. ZSS & Samus are such incredibly bad matchups that truly reveal that Luigi’s neutral isn’t top tier & if he didn’t have big combos he’d be a bottom 10 character. Kind of feel like if Luugi swapped to Steve or Kazuya or even Terry his results would put him in top 5 player arguments. Steve & Kaz just better Luigi.

The way you have to fight Luigi is hit and run with most of the cast you just seem to hate Samus.

Eff Luigis. Im glad that Luigi couldn't get in to do that stupid grab combo that doesn't take any skills. That was pretty much all he was going for when samus was at 0%.
