Coaches, teammates and lawler himself would have planned everything meticulously in terms of diet /training /sleep to have everything be perfect on fight day. Imagine lawler cutting calories in the final days to make sure he comes in at 170. Cutting calories = energy deficit. Energy deficit = less time spent on training. Then 3 days before he is told, its a new weight because nick doest wanna fight on the agreed upon weight.

Jake would absolutely crush Valentina and her sister. Their small sizes could not even handle 70% of Jake's punch power. That pink suit guy is just a middle-aged attention seeker who has the intellectual capacities of an insect. That's the reason he feels the urge to ask such irrelevant questions.

I am too. It was literally Diaz vs Lawler 1, that got me into watching UFC. It was the first MMA fight I ever watched and they've both been guys I've followed since. I still can't get over how much time was wasted in his career, but at least he's back and this was a perfect fight for his comeback.
