It's a tough fight to call, I think Charles has better tools, but Dustin's tougher and his will to win is undeniable. If Dustin's able to make it a dog fight he can win, but he could be in trouble if it hits the mat and he could get caught on the feet too.

this really is a hard fight to predict. The way Dustin has been fighting and the quality of opponent he's beaten...its hard to see him losing. That being said, I think the reach of Charles and the grappling could present serious problems for Dustin

Dustin doesn't do well against wrestlers and grapplers. He's going to need to put Charles away with boxing alone. But Poirier is a violent, violent man. I don't think he is a very technically slick fighter, but he is just mean and nasty. This will be a real test for Charles, because if he can handle Poirier on the feet, he might be unbeatable for awhile.

Too many people are doubting Pena. She actually worked twice, if not 3 times harder than Nunes for this fight. You can tell. Heck, Pena is still at home working while Nunes is at Vegas in vacay mode already. I think Nunes by KO, round 1.

The main event is definitely one of those fights where you want both guys to win. Sort of like Gaethje vs. Chandler. I like both guys a lot, but I think I'd prefer to see Dustin win...only because I'm an American and typically pull for the American when I don't have a clear cut favorite. Much respect to Charles, his character, and his journey.

2 things to point out : Charles have sneaky good takedowns which I would say is Dustin's weakness, but when it does hit the mat, Dustin has sneaky good Jiujitsu. Also, Dustin should definitely consider Olive's striking to be some of the best, because it definitely is.

“Sneaky good Jiu Jitsu” Dustin isn’t that good on the ground. Especially his takedown defence. He hasn’t submitted anyone since 2012, and couldn’t even pull guard, when he tried to submit Khabib. He got taken down several times, by Dan Hooker too.

Oliviera has been on a tear and has developed so mixh, particularly standing - which is where I see the fight taking place. I think he is a lot more technically sound than Dustin on the feet, and has a more diverse array of options, so I see him getting the nod. Both great fighters and nice guys.

Honestly I‘ve seen grappling videos (training) from Dustin and I was impressed but just seeing what charles and his coach did… so technical and fast crazy man. I don’t think DP should go for the Guillotine tbh… i have this weird feeling this could turn on him like in the khabib fight. Charles is really agile and fast on the ground However dustins style with going through with his power punches might get him the W, when look at it. Chandler did that and hurt Charles badly. I think the biggest and probably for a lot pf people underrated factor could Olives front body kicks. If he lands enough it could turn into dustin shooting and getting caught in a sub

There’s one opponent that no UFC champion can ever defeat and that’s father time. She will eventually lose the belt or be forced to retire. Either way, she won’t hold the belt forever.

Exactly! Everyone acts like Oliviera is the most dangerous opponent Dustin has faced. He is nowhere near the list of killers DP has taken out (Alvarez 2x, Gaethje, Hooker, McGregor 2x, Holloway 2x) Dustin thrives in drawn out fights so beat of luck to the paper champ who leapfrogged the top 5 in lightweight to face Michael Chandler on his 2nd UFC bout gifted a title shot.

Something about the Nunes family that's so amazing. The UFC should have been promoting her years ago. Her and Nina have such a great story to aspire to for a lot of young girls and not even mentioning the LGBTQ community. Shes what a UFC champ should be.
