Sergei is Blessed with Reach advantange and utlisation and Granite Chin. His chances of winning the title is very good. But then again Aspinall is also well rounded and Fast with power.

The one thing Weasle has negkected to bring up in the Jiri fight is that Jiri is coming back from a really bad shoulder injury, and this is his first fight back. I doubt he's going to be as explosive as he was before, and he's also been inactive for a while.

Adensanya hit him with the exact same punch--same hand thrown the same way--twice in a row to first rattle him and then knock him out in the rematch. Not only did he fail to see the first one coming, but he simply popped up right into the second one for the KO, not seeing it either, with no defense for it.

I gotta go with Jiri. The man has a awkward style thats hard to prepare for and is tough as nails. With Poatan, we know he's gonna look to chew up that lead leg with calf kicks at try to set him up for that dynamite of a left hook. But with Jiri...nobody knows what he will do lol. 😅Between the 2 of them, it seems Jiri can recover better from heavy damage than Alex. I feel like Poatan might see red after clipping Jiri and then get caught on the way in with some kind of weird Elbow-Uppercut like the one Prochazka damn near k*lled Reyes with.😱

My stigma about Pereira after knockout made me doubt him like everyone doubts Charles olivera for being a quitter. Except periera chin looks sus now. But that was his only and first Hardcore KO he's had. But we underestimate him and his chin. Alex should win this if he takes it slow and calculated.

Probability of both Jiri and Tom getting it done are much better than probability of both Alex and Sergie getting it done, as the Weasel's over-all predictions here said. Both Alex and Sergie, strike per strike, are a bit more powerful (or they're more willing to invest in bigger throws)... but over-all creativity, skills, speed, and agility all go to both Jiri and Tom. But people are silly, if they think Poatan is in a different league, with that left hand of steel of his. Jiri has 33 total pro MMA fights and 28 of those were SUDDEN-FIGHT-ENDING wins (KOs & Sub). STATS: Alex has 10 pro MMA fights and 6 were wins by KO; that's 60% sudden fight ending wins. Jiri stat for sudden-fight-ending wins are 85% (28 out of 33). The dude is no joke, in terms of one-punch/one kick power. Sergie's problem also is Khamzat's problem: if you are really good, with very powerful wrestling and/or strike, you tend to easily bulldoze over unranked, lower ranked, and Top 10. But once you hit the Top 5 area, where mostly only the very best get to, it is NOT as easy to rag doll people. Ngannou learned that mighty quick after the first Stipe fight and, as an intelligent and athletic guy, Ngannou started learning how to pace himself, how to wrestle, how to be tactical, etc. VERY QUICKLY... and that's how he became champ. If Sergie wants to be champ, he had better learn to wrestle, pace himself, use more tactics than just march straight forward and throw as hard as a 265lb HW could and hope he KO everyone put in front of him. As Sergie himself said, Tom is sort of like Jones and Stipe together: Tom is very good to elite, when it comes to boxing, BJJ, and wrestling. And just because he doesn't bite down on his mouthpiece and throw haymakers like Sergie, it doesn't mean he doesn't have one-punch/one-kick KO power; he does.

6 out of 8 of Alex's wins are by k.o. and 25 out of 29 for Jiri are knockouts, not only that but Jiri is on an 11 fight finish streak with 10 of them being knockouts, this fight is gonna break the world man 👊👊

Haven't seen many ppl talk about how overwhelming and chaotic Jiri can be. I could see this going like most of Jiri's fights tbh. Jiri moving around erratically, landing but also taking crazy shots, stumbling around at a few points etc. But overall just catching Alex with some weird shit and keeps coming forward until he does enough damage to find a random finish

That's what i was thinking... Ricci is terrible. I'm sure she's only on the card as a lot of guys have the hots for her (matchmakers figure she'll bring in some extra viewers who are fans). I think Jiri’s pressure is going to be very tough for Alex in the first couple of rounds, he isn’t as good on the back foot and his defense is not as awful as Jiri but it isn’t too great either. I can see a big Ko happening for both of them

Yea he was injured, thats why he had to pull out of the Della madelena fight. He's got one upcoming against Gastelum in Dec I believe. Most people think gastelum may have trouble making 170 though so we'll see if it happens. Tons of fights fallen through this year.

It’s HW MMA and Aspinall is lightning quick for a HW, and is super clean on the feet, Sergei has basically outstruck brawlers recently that’s it. He’s not seen a legit technical striker since Overeem. Think you are overestimating his supremacy there.

@@TheGoldenPineappl Yet it is Aspinall who hasn’t really faced anyone who is powerful or technical in either striking or wrestling. I don’t think Aspinall is that technical if he keeps his chin high whenever he attacks. Sergei can survive Tom’s wrestling since he knows some wrestling as well. Curtis Blaydes isn’t as quick as Tom but is overall more technical with better wrestling,

I got Tom, I will trust his distance management to handle the nukes from Sergei, and I can imagine him throwing many leg kicks and fight at long range, Sergei does not throw kicks that much. And why do I think that Alex will just make this look easy? I got him via KO. lol He is too good of a kickboxer and he already showed he can defend takedowns well in the Jan fight.

Alex by sub! I think as Jiri isn't that threat in the ground. Alex can risk and go for a submission, in case the fight hits the ground. Alex kind of cogitated to go for a submission attempt between the first and second round, but Glover held him up.

The only factor to Jiri losing is if his shoulder is healed sufficiently… I think Jiri seeing how Izzy won will be a factor… if won’t be easy for either one of them….
