Props to Luke for speaking about his alcoholism so honestly and openly and congratulations on your improvements Luke. My dad was struggling with alcoholism last year and his health was really on the decline, thankfully he has slowed down quite a bit since then and mostly only drinks alcohol on weekends now thanks to our family having an intervention with him but his health status is still not good. It's so important to be open to discussing these issues with people in your lives. And so happy to have you guys back, I've listened to every episode since around 2020 and the show is only improving. Congrats guys 👍

I understand that they are more "similar" personality-wise, and BC is awesome and having him is genuinely great, but goddamn do I LOVE when it's just Luke and Chuck. They flow so nicely off of each other. It would be so nice to have a small space somewhere in the week where it's the two of them. BC and Luke's contrast is fantastic and helps things be a little wilder, a little funnier, and I'm probably taking it for granted, but just Luke & Chuck every now and again... chef's kiss.

If Rakic had been in the mix over the last 2 years, I would pick him in a heartbeat. He's so much cleaner and measured than Jiri. But that knee injury was bad, it's been 2 years, and Jiri has been active and is not letting anyone get comfy before bringing the fight to them. I want to take Rakic but that's a hard one to pick due to circumstances.

I think Chuck makes a really good point re Jones and the drug testing agent. Why would this woman go to the cops and lie about Jon threatening her? What does she have to gain by doing that, and potentially strainer her relationship with her bosses/the UFC? It doesn't add up at all. Also, at this point is really is just part of Jon's pattern of behavior. It fits in with the glimpses we've gotten over the years, like threatening to kill DC when he thought the mics were off. Or beating his fiance. He clearly behaves differently when he thinks nobody is watching.

Considering he is still champion now (officially anyway), I think it is going to take a very dark and tragic turn once he retires. The only disciplining factors in his life are probably his coaches and the will to compete. When that is gone I fear the worst.

I agree with look at the 53:30 mark. I felt like Strickland won and that he should have retained the title. DDP fought well, but he was far too vulnerable in some of those spots later in the fight, and I felt it was enough to sway the pendulum back to Sean.
