The saddest retirement from the UFC has to be Glover Teixeira. I will never forget feeling disgusted with how the Brazilian fans treated him that night. As the fight ended the fans started throwing stuff into the octagon, and at his opponent for winning the LHW title. The worst part was how they walked out boo-ing, during Glover's final speech. I couldn't believe how classless and disrespectful they were after all he gave to the sport, while representing his/their country.

As already stated in a few comments, absolute shame on the Brazilian crowd for Glover's retirement. The same night, they threw stuff at Brandon Moreno after his undisputable tko win over Figuereido (yes, a knuckle in the eye is unlucky, but it was a clenched fist, 100% legal), and then when it was clear that Glover would lose against Jamahal Hill, they left the arena. Glover Teixeira, a true legend and such a wholesome human being, did his retirement speech in front of a half empty arena, supposedly filled with his own Brazilian people. Heart-breaking. They don't deserve having such great champions. Also, the Korean Zombie's retirement on The Cranberries "Zombie" song was the most emotional moment I've ever witnessed on a UFC broadcast, with the whole crowd singing at the top of their lungs. I was speechless with watery eyes the whole song...and that was well deserved for him
