Fighters competing in UFC summer events squared off after the press conference at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. Intense staredowns went down between Daniel Cormier and Jon Jones, Kevin Lee and Michael Chiesa, as well as Amanda Nunes and Valentina Shevchenko.

I'm surprised at Nunes, that's not the usual her. What caused that? Valentina is the only one good enough that could replace her and actually make UFC more money. I am smelling replacement. Valentina is as good a fighter possibly better, pretty, more adverse in the English language, speaks Spanish fluently too, good for interviews and talk shows this helps promote UFC and this is where Amanda lacks badly. No body wants to root for a babe he stands absolutely no chance to get because of her life style, but Valentina appears to like men. Amanda bulldozed Val' s chin for no reason at the stare down? I'm afraid my girl's days are numbered even if Dana has to quietly see it through. UFC will make the most money off of Valentina. I like me some Holly and Tate and they would be perfect,but their problem ,is they can t keep the belt past one fight. This is not good for UFC bottom line. Rousey kept it for years everybody was used to her, talk shows loved her as a welcomed regular, she made UFC plenty promotional money. Valentina fits the bill, she will hold the belt for quite a while. Her looks and exotic last name, can fight too! I bid you to GET READY FOR THE NEXT MMA champion ...Miss Valentina!!!!!!!!!!!!

Only in UFC, fighters humiliate and insult each other regularly. In other combat sports, they seem to respect each other more. Check out Muay Thai fights, for example, fighters smiles and hugs each other before abd after the fights. To them its just another day at the office.

It's funny how everyone is saying that these guys including D.C is copying conor and this is fake. When the in reality the real "trash talk rivalry" is between DC and jones. After every fight conor hugs the fighters because his trash talk is fake to hype the fight. But when cormier and jones fought they did not hug it out the trash talk still and hatred still followed. Look at weidman he's not copying conor that's real. Conor is the best trash talker but not the first or the only one who does it.

Wrong. If a champion can't fight he is now longer the champion. Jones has had one fight in nearly two and a half years. You can't be inactive forever and still be the real champion. He didn't even look that good vs. OSP.
