@@westEOD no you weren’t what? I did literally all of the things they did in this video. We didn’t even call eod for controlled dets on caches in Iraq. We did in Afghanistan and went on plenty of route clearance missions with eod. Never said I was eod just said we did the same training (in the video) which if you knew about it the training you would know that.

I loved how much Paddy hated yelling “fire in the hole”. It’s probably because he has no base in his voice and it cracks like a 12 year old’s lmfao. Yelling “Fire in the hole” is one of my favorites besides “Taser, Taser, Taser!”

If you had the time I would love to see you join a basic training class for the final field training exercise or crucible! You have seen some of the fun stuff the military gets to do, now you should see some of the struggle.

I'm from the UK and ended up as a Machine Gunner in the Marine Corps. I would LOVE to see him on a machine gun range taking out the m249, m240, m2 50 cal, and mk19. Nothing in life compares to firing them, that was the best job on the planet 😊

They are a bit more serious due to the nature of the exercise. No time for jokes when dealing/playing with explosives. Serious injury or death could happen. Last bunch were exercising hand to hand combat. Huge difference!

I was in Light Armored Recon with the Marines - you should go check out those units, and see if they'll let you shoot some 25mm or maybe even a TOW missile!

To be honest, those guys look super stress-free. Blowing things up in the desert seems to be relaxing. The problem is the moment you actually have to do the job. Those 30 mins must be crazy.

@@revolucion5398 I am ex Royal Air Force myself and I know that the lads have taken up reporters, to NASCAR drivers and Actors and Actresses. They like to do it as it give’s something different to do. Also, they like to push them through the Gs… They also have let them fly the jets on a occasion. So, it’s worth asking. There are a number of KZfaq vids showing them do this. I think they have taken up some UFC fighters as well. It’s with a try. Also for videos just tap in KZfaq Blue Angles famous people or something of that nature to see what they do with them. I am sure Paddy will love it..

id say paddy doing tank training would be ace or gunfire (fighting/explosives/Gunfire) 3 good solid points on what the marines are about. we all wanna fire guns but the kickback an recoil can be nasty on some meaning you can just spray a weapon.

Depends on SOP for the range/type of range. Some do require you to yell it three times before detonation. They were giggling because his accent made it sound hilarious.
