because time has past and now we can look back and go wait a minute this guy only had 17 fights and lost 3 you cant be the goat because you had 14 wins no matter who they were against fedor had 47 fights and will likely have one last one

@@whitedom2041 completelyyy disagree with what your saying , quality of opponents and how much ease you are beating them with is a major factor. LOL and if you deconstructed cains loses , one was getting caught by jds(Cain proved he was the way better fighter skin the other fights ) , second fair play to werduk got choked also Cain didn’t anticipate the altitude change but fair play to werdum. And Fighting francis wayyyy past his prime and riddled with injuries.

Prime Cain literally an absolute animal. Would have been smart to make a comeback against absolutely anyone other than Prime Ngannou 🤦‍♂️ We’d still have Cain in the UFC but he bit off more than he could handle at his age.

Age has nothing to do with it. It's fight miles you have to look at. Cain didn't have an extremely long career because he trained like an absolute madman that he completely broke down his body over the course of years. Back then they didn't know exactly how to train as perfected as it is today. They would just run each other into the ground (Cain and DC). One of biggest reasons why Cain broke down way before DC is because he had a crazy strength training coach who put him through these grueling weight lifting sessions that completely ruined his body over time. DC didn't do all that weight lifting stuff.
