This is the UFO Watchtower near the Great Sand Dunes National Park in Colorado. We didn't know this place existed but I had to stop since I enjoy really quirky roadside attractions. The UFO Watchtower is great, the guide told us all about the UFO sightings in the area and why it's a fantastic place to camp.
We got to check out the items others have left behind (it's supposed to give you good luck if you leave something behind). We also checked out the gift shop which is housed in a flying saucer looking building and went on top of the watchtower.
If you enjoy the strange and unusual you should stop by this place. It's not something that will take long for you to see it all, but it will leave you with some great memories. And who knows, maybe you will see a UFO!!!
