Georgia’s pass rush was underwhelming all year long. They didn’t get after Milroe because they couldn’t, not because they had “respect” for his running ability. Milroe was the most sacked QB in the SEC - This was no secret. Teams that could pass rush against Bama did.

I wasn't impressed with Alabama and Milroe was up and down but our defense just wasn't impressive maybe too many injuries and we only put up 10 points in the 1st 3 quarters .Hard to beat anybody with an anemic ground game.

idk what it is with you guys and these false narratives. as bad as bama’s offensive line was and as bad as georgia was at sacking the qb, they still sacked him 4 times like what’re we talking about? yall said the same thing in the ohio state game.

@@mikegalgano4567the run defense was leaky all year long. other than that, bama did not move the ball that well. they literally only had success throwing against one player and that was daylen everette.

@@SabansBaldSpot if you look back at the game, you’ll see that when UGA sacked Milroe the sacks usually didnt come from DL pressure. They were mostly coverage sacks or sacks caused by Milroe’s reluctance to get rid of the ball. I think one was from an actual blitz package.

Something I observed since everyone is analyzing is the fact that Bama had an offensive plan against GA and adapted it at halftime.. To me it looked like GA executed the same plan which they ran al year.. And Bama defense looked like they knew the play that was coming better than the offense.. The bottom line was that Alabama wanted the game far more than GA & it showed. Hopefully this game will be circled this year!

Agree 100% with too much respect for Milroes running abilities. The "spy" approach failed miserably, should have pressured him relentlessly. I'm no guru and so thankful for Kirbys coaching but unfortunately he got schooled again by Saban

I have no clue why we were spying him. People did that all last season to Alabama and it didn’t work. Piss poor game plan by Kirby and muschamp in my opinion

I don’t know where this whole “we will never see another undefeated team ever again” narrative came from but I honestly think it’s just cope for teams that think college football has somehow turned into college basketball and they can make some kind of Cinderella run and win the national championship. Even if you don’t think Georgia can go undefeated (which I think they can) look at Ohio state! They have one of the easiest schedules in the country for a team who actually has a chance to win it all.

Unfortunately, Milroe was 100% correct. Our DL was the weak link last year and it was exposed in the SECCG. Either we are who Milroe says we are (not man enough) or we show them a different side of our defense this year.
