Trying out Sausage Rolls, it is true - the Ninja makes the ugly beautiful! These were lovely, will definitely make sausage rolls using the ninja again.

You inspired us to have a go! Purchased some sausage meat from my butcher, added finely chopped onions garlic and some with caramelised onion, apple sauce from jars sprinkled with seeds Wow! I’m gunna try mixing some packet stuffing in next time! Proper Festive, thx, Cook On 👍🏻❤️

@@budgetcookinguk You're welcome 🙏 Love home cooking and watching other ppl's ideas and appliances they use. I don't have an air fryer and don't want one but I bought a mini oven due to the utility hikes and it's better than my built in oven!! 🤣 X

@@kat7777 even a mini oven will help with the energy costs 👍👍 and anything cooked in an airfryer can be cooked in an oven. Love home cooking vids too, I'd recommend Butlers empire as well to watch 💕💕

The sausage meat taken from sausages, is in my opinion, much tastier than sausage meat bought on its own

To take out the sausage meat I cut the skin with a sharp knife and peel it off. You can then use the sausage direct without the skin. Nice video!

Well Kerry those sausage rolls look delicious😋😋😋😋The air fryer's so quick. My roast potatoes came out well in my slow cooker. It didn't crisp them up,but i soon crisped them up in the frying pan. The oxo cube sprinkled on the top of the potatoes was a brilliant idea,thank you. You'll have to try making a Christmas cake in the Ninja like the Butler's did. Thier cake came out lovely. Good morning Kerry🌞 you'll have to make a double batch of sausage rolls next time.😋😋so you can enjoy more than one.I'm so looking forward to your Apple cake video. Does your Son like cooking?My Son does, he's loved cooking since he could reach the kitchen table. He's now nearly 40yrs of age,with 3 Son's of his own.My Son used to make beef and stilton pasties,and they were scrumptious😋😋😋😋It doesn't seem 5 minutes ago that he was a teenager.How time passed us by. As you get older it passed even quicker. But here in Spain it's a more social life so I get out a lot.I sing on the karaoke, play music bingo,and go on coach trips,and I go to the theatre. The difference is our shops don't open until 10am. 10.30am,then they close from about 2pm and open at 5pm 5.30pm and they stay open until 9pm or later. So lots of people tend to go out at night when it's cooler to the shops bar's and restaurant's.In the UK we would be coming home at the time the Spanish go out.They also eat late. I love the relaxed way of life.Plus i feel safe walking around alone at midnight 01.00am in the morning. In the UK i wouldn't.I've lived here for 21 years now so this is my home.Yes I love the Butler's Empire videos. Martin and Sharon are so down to earth,no air's and graces. I tried sausage rolls twice once in halogen oven I have and later in the ninja both times they had soggy bottoms sausage was cooked, they were not nice. enjoying your videos esp the ninja had to get one myself best thing I have bought, like the look of the 15 in one the Buttlers now have

Thank you Colin👍 was the crisper plate in the ninja drawer when you did the sausage rolls? The 15 in 1 looks like a great bit of kit - it can do so much! Love the butlers💕

@@budgetcookinguk yes I had the crisper tray in and they stuck to it anyway plenty of other success. Have you tried corn on the cobb, plonk them in 8 minutes 200 c airfry keep rotating them, gorgeous

I'm from the US and have never had a sausage roll. What do you serve with them? Are they a breakfast side with eggs or a lunch/dinner with vegetable item? Thanks for naming the store you got your items from. A Lidl just opened in our area of Georgia USA. I really want to try it.

Thank you Holly👋😀They can be eaten on their own as a snack, us brits love them. We eat them for lunch on their own too, I've cooked them for dinner with mash, peas and gravy, I've made a huge one too (in my playlist under puff pastry). It amazes me they are not a thing in the US. We go crazy for them, think the success of Greggs is down to the delicious sausage roll😋😋😋

I don’t have have a bake setting on my air fryer have you ever done these on air fry?

I think the bake setting default temp on ninja is 160 so you could turn down your airfry setting maybe? If I did it on airfry I would lower the temp👍

@@budgetcookinguk I do mine on air fry and lower to 180 for 10 mins and turn them for the last few mins. 8 use Cumberland sausage and love them hot or cold. Fabulous 💁🏼‍♀️

all the sausages here have fennel in them but I have a Italian deli up the road from me who will make sausages with your own recipe so just have to find one what I want
