Good on you for showing the ugly side of a tank starting. Many you tubers won’t show this kind of thing but it happens in most new reef tanks especially since live rock became less common. It helps people who are starting up have realistic expectations.

Thanks for being transparent with your saltwater aquarium, and I've got to say that your aquarium looks great. Thanks for sharing your updates on your saltwater aquarium. Thanks and please keep up the good work.

I want to say something but don’t want to offend especially after watching your dads video too. I keep planted and marine tanks, even a Koi pond lol. Planted tanks have come a very long way and I have just as much fun as I do with my marines and it’s a heck of a lot cheaper and more forgiving. Maybe if this one doesn’t go well you could look into planted. Good luck Corey 👍

If you’re planning on going SPS in here, which I assume you are, your bangai fish may not like the higher flow and will potentially hide away, might be worth swapping them out for two small wrasse or something, so you have some small activity around your eventual corals and rock work :)

I'm aware they won't like the high flow but I would like to try breeding them and I guess see how they get on with a slightly elevated flow rate

Be careful how much flow you put in the tank. Bangai cardinals don’t like high flow.
