Exactly, i liked fishing but i gave up a bit ago because i didnt have patience, but as i got older i started to love it more because i got better.

Back in the 1990s I had a short ugly stick spinning rod. It was probably around 4 or 5 foot and I don't remember the model. I was crappie fishing around docks with 4 lb test and a hooked a 6 lb bass. That little rod did it's job and I've been a customer ever since.

The rod is great but after a few months of use the reel has broken on me. A little spring snapping in half and now the speel thing won't snap in place. Trying to find a replacement that fits the rod, tried a magreel 2000 series but its way too big and heavy. Might get a Quantum 05 or 10 series idk. Anyone with reccommendations?
