I go to Port Huron all the time to visit family. The Flags are the classic team. Border Cats not as nostalgic. The Beacons were a team I remember. As a Hampton Roads resident I plan on getting that Rhinos jersey. Would be fun to wear to an Admirals game and see if anyone knows what it is.

#10 Ron Duguay was my neighbor when he skated with Gulls. rookie Ray Whitney skated on his line b4 getting called up to NHL. Great IHL team back then b4 owner moved them to Long Beach. Games sold out often. Do either of you own a SD Mariners jersey

My dad got drafted by the San Diego Gulls roller hockey team in the RHI. Dont think he played though.

@uglythirds Not that I know of, I would have to talk to him about it l. He still plays roller and competes in echo tournaments, if you're familiar with that.

Curious as to why your Minnesota team move to California went back to the Seals name instead of keeping the Stars name?

From North Stars to the Lone Star State it made sense, but the California Stars sounds too Hollywood, and since San Jose wasn't getting the Sharks, I wanted the marine animal vibe
