To your point Robbie, I’m sort of in the same boat where I’d rather have the ability to watch the Star Wars we’re getting now then not be able to have it at all. We could very easily be living in the time when there was no show or movie being made, and it was just books and comics. At the same time I also do recognize that one of Lucasfilms biggest faults of which needs to be addressed is that they need to bring movies back because I think that’s where the specialty of what you addressed comes from. I think people recognized the specialist of this franchise in the movies. Television shows and everything else I feel is more secondary in its specialty.

Show is alright so far, not as bad as some people are saying but I’m not doing backflips & couldn’t honestly recommend it to a non Star Wars fan

George Lucas : here’s a “kids” movie where we clearly define good and evil and even show how you can be redeemed. Modern Disney Star Wars: actchully there is no good or bad and if there is the bad guys are actually good and the good guys are colonizers

It’s not 100 years befor the phantom menace, the show states at the beginning that it takes place 100 years befor the rise of the empire, the rise of the empire did not take place until the end of revenge of the sith.

That’d make it 87 years before The Phantom Menace, which is close enough for me! Pair that with a 16 year flashback and it may be 103 years before.
