By popular request, I have answered the call (plus I love them too).
These types of vids are a good challenge, mixing in the storyline alongside serious drama and then inputting funny moments with serious music can be hard. I find that the beauty of this group is that they’re existing together as family in a time where everyone judged you on your culture, religion and whether you’re a bastard born or not. But that doesn’t matter to this group, as many have pointed out in the show. As Sigtryggr asked, “why do you choose them?….” And Uhtred says “they are my people”.
I finished the series last night after finally admitting defeat and just binging the last 4 episodes because I was so hyped. Please go watch it!
I can't wait for England to finally be born in the new film.

Every good series has a group of friends that make you want more of the show. It ended well however these boys will definitely be missed the most. Alas its time to rewatch the entire thing all over again

the last kingdom was truly a masterpiece of a show. it did what Game of Thrones and Vikings failed to do. it stuck to it's guns right to the end.

Uhtred and his merry trio of idiots. Love these guys. Their relationship is one of the best things in the series and such a foundation for the show. Baby monk. God that moment. I cried my eyes out. And watching Finan blaming himself then having to tell Sihtric and Uhtred. I won't be over that for a while. This was such a good video. Such a great representation of their brotherhood. I'm off to cry some more.

I have watched GoT, Vikings, and TLK. This series is truly underrated and was consistent from start to finish. In my opinion, among the three, The Last Kingdom is the best series, it's just that good from the characters to the events, it all makes sense.

It’s amazing series yes, but it feels repetitive to me with more or less similar conflicts and one man saving the day. But I still couldn’t stop binge watching 😆 GOT kind of takes it for me even tho they ruined the ending

The show is majestic, and these characters literally demonstrated the #Bros4ever life. Their friendship, their brotherhood and their loyalty to each other were amazing. I am so glad that I found the Last Kingdom, solid and well-written, always able to surprise. The finale was touching, let's be honest, it was amazing

I bet they’ll show a little time skip, Uhtred as the Lord of Bebbanburg defending Northumbria from the Scots or raiders. The real Uhtred famously defended England against several Scottish invasions from king Malcolm III. But I reckon the film will show us the battle of Brunanburh, the battle that decided whether England was to be or not. England vs the allied forces of Constantine II of Scots (the scot king in S5), the King of Strathclyde (Cant remember their name), and Olaf Guthfrithson the king of Dublin. England won against all odds and became a country that year, A.D 937. That’s how I think the film will go. But I haven’t read the books, so book readers have the best guess. I’m just quoting history.

I have loved The Last Kingdom since the very first episode of Season 1. I laughed and cried with the characters from beginning to end. Time for the books AFTER the movie. I will miss all of the actors and wish them the best in the future. You all are loved and many thanks for the ride. It's been thrilling to say the least.

A fantastic series and a much better book series of the Saxon chronicles. I look forward to when his books on the hundred war will be made, it will be a brutal spectacle of several parts of those heroes in the 4 part series there are many and more books to follow omg I am so looking forward to it Bernard Cornwell is simply a master storyteller of monumental battles from the Middle Ages and its stories absolutely amazing!!

*Spoiler* This was amazing. I loved their bond and cried so much when Osferth died. Stiorra also reminds me of her mother. Strong. Beautiful. Smart. I want to see an edit of them. And of Stiorra and Sygtryggr. I loved them and cried a lot for him too when he died.

Great job putting so many good scenes together that showed just how much these guys lived for one another. I was so glad they got their Season 5 and a movie in the works, no way could we not see Uhtred return to Bebbanburg. Pretty awesome how everything came together in the end, it was definitely a miracle. Whether there is one God or multiple Gods, they were all with them that day! Definitely a series that will always stick with me for the rest of my days!

I literally finished the last season today and I'm so emotional, thATS what I call a proper ending, it was so so perfect and well written...❤️ the last 10 minutes I had tears on my eyes, just... impressive job, such a underrated show, it deserves so much more attention that it's getting. An incredible tribute! The show is amazing on its own, however, when these 4 are in scenes together, it takes it to heights I didn’t think they can reach. The comradery between the men is something I think no show can ever match! Rest easy Baby Monk! Died a warrior!

A year ago, I learned about this show. Watched a couple of episodes from season 1 and didn't continue. Then I started watching GOT, and after finishing it and HOTD, I was searching for something similar. I didn't know what to watch and where. So I watched TLK again from the beginning, and it didn't capture my interest again. However, 3/4 days ago, I thought of giving it a last try. I knew it did not include mythical creatures like dragons, and it didn't belong to the fantasy genre like GOT. I only knew that it was about kings, warriors, and wars. Boy, was I wrong!!! It was a wonderful time binge-watching this series for the first time. The thing I liked most about TLK is this boyband of Uhtred. Oh, They are precious! And the thing I hated most was the death of the baby monk. It broke my heart to see Uhtred claim his birthplace without Osferth accompanying him. The loyalty between Uhtred, Osferth, Sithric, and Finan won my heart. The way they always stood for each other was something I was searching to watch in any Series. The actor who played Osferth is also in HOTD as Aemond, but I didn't like his character in HOTD. And now, after watching TLK, I want to see him more in HOTD. I know the universes are different, but still, his screen presence will be my compensation. I know Uhtred is not based on a real character, but I will visit Bebbanburg (now Bamburgh Castle) one day. Just like I will visit Hobbiton in NZ one day.

I just finished S5 and I miss the lads already 😭 The Last Kingdom is such a wonderful show and I wish I could redo it all over again so I can rewatch this show for the first time! Can't wait for the film...hopefully we get to see Uhtred, Sihtric and Finan together again. love LOVE this edit! 2:41 is peak comedy...with the silence and Beocca's bout of violence 🤣 I do wish him and Osferth could still be there 'till the end.
