An Unforgettable Day of Fishing! Catching a 230 cm Porbeagle Shark!
This week was truly exceptional! We had an amazing day on the water, reeling in some impressive bass and stunning Tope. But the highlight of the day was undoubtedly a massive catch: a 230 cm Porbeagle shark, estimated to weigh 280 lbs! This incredible fish gave us a run for our money, constantly taking off every time we got it close to the boat. Thankfully, with our upgraded gear and improved hook removal technique, we managed to handle it more efficiently this year.
Our Gear for the Day:
• Reels: Shimano Tyrnos 20 II
• Rod: Shimano Catana Trolling Light 16
• Trace: Cox & Rawle RUTW-400lb wire bite trace 12/0 circle
