I have some questions about this: 1) What happens if my sponsor is not meeting the financial requirement? 2) Can my Visa still get accepted even though I'm not meeting the financial requirement? 3) If it does get accepted, and I start working in the UK and then we start meeting the financial requirement, can I then transfer to the 5 year route? 4) If I am doing the 10 year route, can I re-new my spouse visa for 10 years in the UK?

If you are applying to join your spouse in the UK, isn't it spouse's bank statement that they need? Whats the point in declaring your conviction if you are living abroad?
