UK Spouse Visa 2021 | How to compile WhatsApp/Text Messages
DISCLAIMER: This information is based on my experience and will not guarantee you a UK Spouse visa. I am not a solicitor or visa advisor. I am just a person who went through the UK Spouse Visa process and is sharing the information I gathered through my experience for those who need more information for their own application.
Hello everyone! I made a video for you on how to compile your WhatsApp (text/Facebook) messages using 2 free apps and programs called CANVA and GOOGLE SLIDES.
If you are using your mobile phone, use CANVA. Here are the steps:
1) Download Canva from the Apple Store if you're using iPhone and Google Play Store if you're using an Android phone.
2) Obviously make sure you screenshot your WhatsApp messages. I recommend you screenshot 4 pages per month (x 12 months) and make sure you can see the date of the conversations you're having in the screenshot
3) Open Canva and open a new document; I recommend you use the presentation format because it’s landscape and you can export it as a pdf ready to be printed if necessary
4) Now upload your screenshots into Canva from your phone
5) Once you've uploaded the screenshots into Canva, you can select and insert the images into your blank document
6) You can then duplicate the image 3 times and then replace each image with your other screenshots from the month
7) Now you can add a relevant title; make sure you label it correctly like "Whatsapp Conversations with (my husband/wife/partner) MAY 2021"
8) Now, you can add more pages and repeat the same steps. You can repeat this process until you have 12 months of conversations (4 screenshots per month)!
9) Once done, you can export it into a PDF, ready to upload onto VFS or print for physical document submission
NOW, if you're using a laptop or computer, you can use GOOGLE SLIDES. Here's how:
1) Go to your browser and search for Google Slides
2) Click on the first result/link. It’ll lead you to a page where you have to open Google Slides
3) Now that you’re on Google Slides, open a new slide which will be a blank slate for your to start compiling your WhatsApp conversations!
4) To get started, upload your print screens onto the slide.
5) Again, just do 4 screenshots per month by going through the Insert - Image - Upload image from the computer. Keep it’s clean and easy to read.
6) Add a relevant title using the text box tool
7) Repeat the process. You can make new pages by right-clicking on the column on the left and clicking "Add new slide". Follow the same process until your have 12 months of conversations!
8) Once you’re done, go to "file" and then "download" and choose "PDF". Now you have a completed PDF compilation of your Whatsapp messages!

You can use this method of Facebook messages, text messages, voice call logs, video call screenshots, even photos from your travels or wedding! Canva and Google Slides make it easy and accessible for anyone who has the internet! GOOD LUCK!
