Thank you for your wonderful music. Been a fan since I was in school in the late 1970s. Last time you came to Boston you actually played in my hometown of Medford, Mass at the Chevalier Theater. Great show. In case you didn’t know the song jingle bells was written near there in the mid 19the century by James Pierpont.

Ian , I seen Jethro Tull 3 times times, by far my favorte band.. I first seen you in Philidelphia I think in 1980 the Stormwatch tour, when you had a patch on your right eye , because you were hit by a rose in your eye thrown by some fan in appriciation with no bad intentions.. I believe that happened in Madision Square Gardens in NYC you said.. Anyway WOW!!! what a show your absoluitly my favorite and what a an amazing band.. GOd bless you , your the best Ian...

Great to see the Jethro Tull band name being back, I for one always thought the contrived distinction between "Tull" and "Anderson Band" was moot. - But why another delay concerning the album release? I was never a big concert person and always preferred the (studio or live) albums. Just a few concerts, then a live album of the best moments would be a better idea than a lengthy tour straining the vocal cords I think, especially with the Delta variant going to blossom in the colder temperatures to come.

Ian, please come back to Utah sir. We've been open and mask free since March. Folks just need to show Vaccination proof. Also of course we're free to wear the mask as well. I figured it was worth asking. Crest of a Knave was my first time seeing you in S.L.C. still have my shirt in mint state. Cheers! From, across the pond in the Rockies of Utah.🍻

I wasn't going to watch this clip when I first stumbled across it. I'm really sorry I watched it. ian is talking to us like we've never been to a live show. It's so sad to see such a classic, unique rock legend record a video telling us how to time our night out so we have enough time to spend our money on concessions and get to our seats in time to see basically a cover group try to sound something like a show from years past. Sounds so much like a liberal politician telling people how to behave because they aren't smart enough on their own to figure out the best time to arrive at the show. Ian was one of the top live performers of his time- along with the great collection of former Jethro Tull members. It is truly sad to watch this.
@michaeln30232 жыл бұрын
His new Band is as good as the old Guys. Some say: That is no more the real Jethro Tull. I find that is wrong. They play as well as Barre or others. Problem is his Voice. He has sung" to old to rock n roll,... That was a critikal Watch to Musicians, who will never stop making Musik. Now is he the Guy who will not believe, that his singing voice is shredded. He could play the Flute till he is 100. But singing? Please no more. There will be sure other good Singers to find

What a shame such an intelligent man has bought into this whole covid thing to this extent. Yes I know he has a health issue. Ok everyone can take precautions if that is what they want to do but to make a video mainly about all this for attending a concert is very sad and a bit too much. Next he will be saying he will only perform to people who did not have the AZ vaccine, like Bruce on Broadway has done.
@georgehenderson77832 жыл бұрын
If I have to show proof of vaccination to see a Tull concert, I won't be going. Anyway, already seen them at their peak several times '77 - '82. 😎
