UK Wildlife photography at my local nature reserve.
At Summer Leys Nature Reserve they recently remodelled one of the main areas in an attempt to attract more wading birds. We spend a few days to see what Wildlife makes an appearance and there are a couple of great surprises.
UK wildlife species included Kingfisher, Bittern, Ducks and even a Peregrine Falcon.

Marvelous shots of the hoovering Kingfisher . Nice Kestrel too, Summer Leys seems a great place to visit . Camper van on order another one to visit 🙂

Thanks mate. Yes, it is a good spot to visit but it is a bit quiet at the moment with the higher water levels. Watch the height restriction 😂

Hi Keith, only came across your channel a couple of evenings ago, and being a birder since I was a lad have seen many different species, but sods law never had a camera to record my exploits. I have a camera now but I'm only a snapper, so it's wonderful to watch guy's like your self produce some marvellous images, raptors are my bag being a Falconer for over 30 years although all wildlife is stunning in any form. I still venture out with binoculars and camera even though I'm knocking on a tad, love your vlogs keep them coming they are magical and of great quality, cheers 👍

Gosh you captured some amazing images Keith - loved that Kingfisher and the Peregrine -wow. Plus the Bittern - brilliant. And then gorgeous shots of the Kestrel. I haven’t been to Summer Leys for ages. Must get back - fantastic, looks like a lot of work has gone on!’

Thanks Dave. Yes they have done some good work although now the water levels have risen it is a bit quiet. Hopefully, they may drop a little.

Hi Keith, A great video and some really amazing shots of the Kingfisher. Despite the bright colours of this bird, they can still be quite good at blending into the background...🙂👍🏻
