I cannot stop listening to this. The vocals are absolutely sublime and the lyrics strike a chord with me right now. And that beat?! Wow. Loving the bass as well. Quite an old school feel, but also very now sounding. Calyx, keep producing stuff like this. Thank you.

Still remember the day it dropped! ..my friends where off listening to like Avicii or something no disrespect..we just on a completely different journey..much deeper cerebral..dare i saw "modern intelligent"? ... the sub bass, kick and snare... the soulful yet minimal vocals and perfect sound design...so far ahead of it's time. Drum & Bass forever gives me hope in the world! Calyx & Teebee forever Goated!

I have listened to those tracks, and yes I loved the deep distorted yet rhythmic basslines. They were amazing. But from a standpoint of the lyrical content, they needed to be brought to the forefront in this track. They are highly uplifting, almost spiritual. If you cannot appreciate that dimension of this track then it is you, child, who have no soul.

You're right about the vibe; the combination of his voice, the bass and synth strongly remind me of Artful Dodger - Re-rewind, which is probably the most famous garage track, but the breakpatern is drum n bass.
