The cost isn't too great. The flu relief funds in EU were a staggering 700billion euros, the aid to Ukraine with EU funding at under 85billion Euros and the US amounting only just 71,4billion Euros is well under what we really need to be giving Ukraine.....Of the US support, financial aid is under 30billion Euros rest of it being military armament. Falling far short of what Ukraine actually requires to upkeep the defensive line and complete under par of what they'd need to push the Russians out of their country.....

They can use nuclear weapon, but that would be the end of any support from China, so I don't think they want to do it. Also, the US said that in that case its forces won't leave a leaving Russian soldier on the occupied territory.

In addition to not standing up to Hitler "Peace in our time" Britain and her allies failed to get ready for war before declaring war. The British airforce and navy were woefully unprepared for a modern war and their army was undersized. All of Europe, including Britain, need to significantly ramp up their inventories, training, and the size of their military. Each NATO country needs to allocate at least 5% of their new inventory to Ukraine.

@@skycloud4802 Not really. Russia held the 98% of their force for years while the allies mobilized and prepared for war. Russia was already pushing Germany back with over 6 million troops before the allies even moved into Italy. So like even around September of 1943 the Russians were fighting 3.15m Germans on two fronts with a force of 6.8m while the allies were fighting in Italy against 126k troops with their 200-250k. The reality is Hitler Napoleoned himself.

2800 Bradley's are in storage in the USA, why can't Britain and Canada buy them from US to send to Ukraine? The 186 Bradley's the US sent Ukraine should have been the first batch. Ukraine has lost 63 Bradley's so far and some of the 186 were used for spare parts, which means they only have a few left. Both Britain and Canada need to ramp up munitions production

We must see the economic, technological and military “power” of Russia in perspective. Russia is indeed a huge country in square km, but only has 144 million inhabitants ( Mexico 128 million, Japan 123 million). This is 40% of USA or Eurozone. The GDP of Russia however is only 4% of the GDP of the Eurozone + USA, this is equal to the GDP of the small countries Belgium + Netherlands. And less than the GDP of the state of California. Relatively (per capita) the GDP of Russia is very low. Beside that the economy of Russia has signs of a 3th world economy. Half of the income is coming from oil & gas. Based on this, Russia isn’t a world power. And for sure, it isn’t a economic power. This is the reason they can’t build up and maintain a big army. The army they already have is far beyond normal proportions in relation to their GDP. This hurts their budgets and prosperity permanently. In this perspective, Russia is a dictatorship with a huge inferiority complex and dangerous megalomaniac ambitions. The path they chose will be their downfall.

Ukraine mistake was trusting the USA when they gave up their nuclear warheads to Russia. Hopefully other countries will learn from this

You didnt even have control of nuclear warheads and no one would give you independence if you would have nuclear weapons. It would be like african country demanding nuclear weapons from UK or France once they gave them independence hahah. You even sold soviet t-80s you had as a present in 1991, no european country had such weapons that time. And now you beg for anything, even ww2 weapons do defend your nazi leaders.

@@veljkoivetic1903 There have been women to the front since 2014. And a big increase after the 2022 invasion. Also Ukraine hasn't accepted the draft changes that state that they will be "sending" women to the front. All of the women so far are volunteers and most of them are not in direct contact with the enemy. Try harder next time Vejko.

That's because the US has the biggest GDP and the biggest defense budget. As share of GDP, the biggest donors to Ukraine are Norway and the Baltic countries. They spend much more from their GDP, than the US. The US spends as much as Bulgaria on helping Ukraine. Bulgaria, the poorest country in the European Union.
