There’s also a new “Eurovision” version of this song. For me, it’s much better than the previous one - so you need to check this on Eurovision KZfaq channel🙏🏻

The staging and quality of the show was so impressive - did you know the National Final was staged on an underground train platform? Just to the left and right of the stage and the audience are the train tracks. It was unbelievable to stage such a beautiful show under those circumstances.

Oh, I know what you mean. There's such an amazing singer here! What a voice, how amazing he sings, but it's like he doesn't even reach 50% of his potential. I'm surprised that there aren't any national motifs, Ukraine like no one knows how to weave them so vividly and beautifully into a modern sound. But still the song is very cool and beautiful. It's also not one of those "in your face" ones, but here the video is over, and the chorus is still playing in my head. Unobtrusive, but insistent. Love it ❤️‍🔥

Maybe it's just my ears and brain in particular, but in every aspect, the rhythm, the melody, the lyrics and singing and everything, it almost feels like an intentional nostalgic throwback to Y2K R'n'B, the kind that ended up licensed on some sorta early 2000s action movie soundtrack.

As a Ukrainian I agree with you. The song is okay and it has some potential, but it is a bit underwhelming.

I agree with you. It was a good song, but I was underwhelmed. I hope you get to France's entry soon. That's my fav this year!

Hey its been a while! KZfaq hasent been recommending any of your stuff since the break, glad to see you back, that being said, I also come with a mission of my own, I know a lot of reactors have been covering him recently, but I've loved Ren's music for years, so ima have to annoy you into listening to some of it atleast, Hi ren is a masterpiece that don't fit into any genre as far as I can tell, the tale of jenny and screech is a beautiful modern twist on bard story telling, and he's got some beautiful soulful duets with chinchilla, or insane raping skills with sick boi, any or all of them are worth your time, I promise

Yess I was hoping for Eurovision content! Ukraine is definitely too high in the odds this year. It's a good entry, but it doesn't stand out for me. I love Finland, Czechia, Austria and Spain the most at the moment, but there are so many good songs and my favourites keep changing depending on my mood. It's a good year.

It really is a great year from what I’ve heard so far! Even this one is growing On me, it’s certainly a catchy chorus and I’ve seen the revamp. I find my favourites are truly solidified with the live performances! Thanks so much as always and I’ll be interested to hear aswell what your favourite is once the live performances start!

To me there was a disconnect between the vocalist's body language and the words he was singing. The words are very defiant but his body language is just "I'm singing a song" and for me it's an emotional disconnect. I like the song without visuals and hope Tvorchi really brings power and more emotion to their performance in the final.

Whii, Eurovision content! Are you planning to do more of these this year? I don't love this song, but no hate either. It's just likeable. Mostly I find that the winning songs make me feel more, in good or bad, so to me this doesn't sound like a winner. Still, Ukraine should do well with audience vote, as the war is still going on. Many people will vote for some mental support, and of course there's a big number of Ukrainians all over Europe possibly voting for their own country. I certainly don't mind if this song does well for whatever reason. I haven't listened to all countries' songs yet, but haven't really found anything I'd love. Nothing like Cornelia's song from last year that I still have playing regularly, or of course Måneskin the year before. I should probably be happy that Finland is doing well in the odds again, but I hate our song this year and would be happy to never hear it again.. Sorry to my fellow Finns 😂

Yea feel kinda disappointed with Ukraine’s choice this year. And the fact that this song was just 3rd on juries votes and the two contenders above were so much better makes me sad. KPUTb - Kolyskova was such a good song for Eurovision but got robbed. At least glad Tvorchi made some tweaking and it sounds better now the one you listened was very raw

This is the lowest Ukraine has been in my rankings maybe ever. It feels so weird! Even with the little revamp they did, this was a let down to begin with and has continued to slip further and further down. I agree with you about the chorus for sure. It kinda feels like it's trying for a nice groove but it comes off as a bit under cooked and under delivered (especially with the voice he has).

I understand you don’t react to all Eurovision songs. How do you select the songs you are going to react please? do tou have the list? :)

Thanks! I usually select some of the ones in the top 20 of the odds, the host city and the big 5. I do realise that this does mean that some miss out and it saddens me. I don’t usually push out this kind of volume of content in a small time but hopefully next year I’ll have the ability to do more - I’ll be doing more this year than I managed to do last year. Is there any in particular you’re waiting for? I can let you know if it’s been done.

I may aswell just let you know which ones I have done this year (currently not released) - Sweden - Italy - Australia - Germany - Serbia - Armenia - Georgia - Switzerland - France - Austria Those are the ones waiting in the wings and currently unreleased. I’ll see if I can get time to do more because I know there are some great entries this year which I haven’t listened to

That was one I really wanted to do aswell. I’m currently on holidays overseas so hopefully when I’m back if I have time I might see if I can push out Portugal. I can’t guarantee but I’ll try 🙂
