Ukraine’s 79th Brigade repelled a Russian attack on the town of Novomykhailivka, as they revealed they have destroyed 314 Russian vehicles in six months of fighting for the town. The latest attack involved a tank fitted with a mine plough leading two armoured vehicles in an assault on Ukrainian positions. But the assault is quickly spotted by a drone and artillery called down on the convoy. The tank and first armoured vehicle make it through unscathed, but the second armoured vehicle is hit by a shell and left motionless on the battlefield. With half the troops stranded on the disabled vehicle, the tank and lead vehicle abandon the attack and flee. The Ukrainians then hit the disabled vehicle a second time, causing the troops to bail out and vehicle to set on fire. Russia has been attacking Novomykhailivka for six months with little success, as the 79th Brigade revealed they have destroyed 314 tanks and armoured vehicles in that time.
