There are, however, other tasks during war time such as logistics and nursing, in which women are desperately needed. It is beyond absurd, that you can find Ukrainian women on tinder in the West at the same time young men are banned from leaving the country (the latter I fully understand and accept, the first is insane).

The original reason was to protect population recovery over the long term. Soviets had more women in military service than anywhere else during WW2. One of the problems, if not the most important one, is that the West won't stick to the terms of any agreement they make with Russia. If you make a deal with Ukraine and the West decides they don't like it, and they never do, they'll send more money into Ukraine to get them to renege on the deal. The heart of the war is in DC.
