Russia said on Saturday it had captured five villages in the region. Hundreds of civilians are thought to have fled from the nearby town of Vovchansk, which is reportedly under Russian fire.

Kharkov is heading towards getting Shoveled. Not now though. 50K troops means 10K infantry - even the Russians have 1:5 infantry to support ratios - and you don't deliver a Shovel Storm with 10K infantry to Kharkov

This is clasic soviet warfare. They are probing through all the front, starting new offensives when the ucranian forces are busy elswehre, forcing them constantly to re-distribute their formations and supplies (wouldn`t be surprised if they start an offensive at Jehrson once enough ukranian reinforcements arrive in Kharkiv), in hopes that their defences crumble at SOME point..... When this happens they will just pour reserves into the sector that has colapsed, while mantaining pressure at the other fronts......

Nothing matters to the people running EU/USA except $$, and Ukraine has been massively profitable. I'm sure if you asked the head of Raytheon or BAE or Rheinmetall, they'd say "of course we wish those people didn't have to suffer". But the profits are too irresistible to let a trifling thing like humanity get in the way

The only person who can truly stop this war is Putin. Remember a decade ago of those balaclava Russian camouflaged men, “green lil men” in Ukraine and all their Russian transport vehicles and obvious Russian weapons? It was Putin who caused this and invaded his neighbor with the intent to fully occupy Ukraine thinking the Ukrainians will only last some days or a few weeks. Putin dragged this war he started himself out

Why is US providing most of the aid and not EU countries? EU needs to defend themselves. Plus Ukraine needs to clean up their corruption. $40 million in mortor rounds paid but never delivered. Which is what Ukraine needs.

President Zelenskyy should request President Macron, President Duda, Prime Minister Sunak, and three Baltic States to send in troops for backup before it's too late because Putin is currently planning for a massive offense with multiple fronts. Thus, it's better to be safe than sorry!

What's not being reported are the people who volunteer to stay waiting for Russian troops. An entire Russian groups of soldiers was hidden in a town by the people until it was time to strike. The people don't want Zelensky. Most of Kharkiv is russian people. Russian soldiers have been living inside Kharkiv for months..

If Russia is not sending its best troops and instead have new recruits on the ground then by the time the real show down begins the newbies will be battle tested and ready. Imagine how much of these soldiers who have so far been shot at and watched friends die and have experienced all the trauma of war compared to others who have yet to be baptized in gunpowder. Russia has put its soldiers under live ammunition training and called it a military operation.
